Hi, I’m Gavin. This is my MK1 GTI. Bought this in 1987. Was my daily driver for years. When both my boys were born, they both came home from the maternity unit in this one. We’d always joked as a family that used it to take them to their weddings. The eldest one got married last August. Gone full circle in the family. I was indoctrinated by my father. He had a Beetle and he’d always loved the VW. So, I’m never going to sell this one. So I’m with Volkswagen foreseeable future.
