The #SubaruCrosstrek goes #Hybrid once again for 2026 and this time, #Subaru got it right!
Hey guys, the Cross Track Hybrid is back for 2026, and it might just be the perfect small SUV. So, this is not Subaru’s first attempt with an electrified Cross Trek. The first model was available from 2014 to 2016, while a second one was actually a plug-in hybrid offered from 2019 to 2023. This time, however, they say third times a charm, and that’s because Subaru made this a conventional hybrid. It blends a 2.5 L boxer flat 4 with two electric motors, standard symmetrical all-wheel drive up to 36 MPG, and nearly 600 miles of driving range. Style-wise, you probably won’t be able to tell this is the hybrid, but there are some differences, so let’s go over them. You won’t be able to miss this color. It’s called Catone yellow pearl. You also get these 18-inch alloy wheels, which is exclusive to the hybrid. You also get another hybrid badge at the back. And when you open up the trunk, unlike the previous hybrid models, there are no compromises to the cargo space. But you do lose the spare tire, and that’s because the battery pack lives underneath here. On the inside, this hybrid Limited comes with these two-tone gray and black Star seats with contrast orange stitching. You have an 11.6 in display in the center with wireless CarPlay Android Auto, and you also get a full 360 camera. The driver features a fully digital display and the steering wheel is now heated. The back seats offer a classleing 36 and a half inches of legroom, but you don’t really get much else other than two USBC charging ports and an arm here that folds down and gives you two cup holders. The new Cross Track Hybrid goes on sale in November. Pricing starts at around 339, which is around three grand more than the gas only version. This limited is about $1,000 more. With options, my test car here is around 384. So, what do you guys think? Would you buy this over the gas only version? Let me know in the comment section below.
After a 3 year absence, the #SubaruCrosstrekHybrid is back with 194 HP and 36 MPG, which makes this #CrosstrekHybrid the most powerful and fuel efficient #Crosstrek that #Subaru has ever built
