This Bike Looks Like A Surron With Pedals… | Happyrun G300 Pro Review

46 47 on the screen. There’s a motorcycle pulling up next to me. That guy gave me the thumbs up. I probably look so crazy pedaling a dirt bike right now. If you are wanting a Suron or a Taria, then this would be a good option if you’re on a budget, have a faster top speed than some Emotos do. All right. So, look, I get a lot of comments from you guys talking about how your parents don’t want you to buy a Suron. They don’t want to buy a Suron for you. It’s too dangerous. It’s too fast. There’s no pedals on it. You’re going to get arrested. You’re going to get it impounded. You’re going to go to jail and get a 30-year felony life sentence. And I just wanted to make this video showing you guys the G300 Pro and talking to your parents real quick. Bring them over. Bring them over. Show them this video. All right. So look, parents, your your kid wants a Suron. They want to be a degenerate riding around with their friends causing chaos in the streets. I’m going to tell you what, this right here is the Happyorn G300 Pro. It is a totally above board class 2 eBike. Class 2. That means that it has a 750 W hub motor and it can only go 20 mph. You cannot make it go any faster than that. As you can see by all of this that they wrote on the front, this is a class 2 bike. It’s totally legal and I want you to buy this for your son or daughter if they’re asking for it because they are going to love you forever. It looks like a dirt bike. Yes, it looks fast, but I promise you it’s not. So, if they want this, you should go out and get it for them right now because it is completely fine. It’s safe and they’re going to be having a great time riding this even though they can’t keep up with their Suron friends cuz they’re not as cool. Okay, so now that we got that out of the way, you guys can uh your parents can leave now. And uh are they gone? Okay, cool. So check it out. This is the Happy Run G300 Pro. It’s got a 6,500 W hub motor and a 72V battery on this thing. And it looks just like a Suron, but it’s got a hub motor, so it’s a little bit different. And the crazy thing about this bike is it has pedals. You guys like how I wrote all this stuff on the front of the box here to fool your parents? I bet they totally bought it, by the way. This looks so legit. Looks just like Happy Run wrote it on there themselves. So anyways, they say this thing can go 50 m an hour, too. So you can keep up with your Suron buddies that have cool parents that actually can buy them a Suron. And so in this styrofoam thing right here, they give us this huge rear shock. So we’re obviously going to have to install that ourselves. Apparently the battery isn’t going to get here until Tuesday. So we might not be able to check this thing out right away. So that is a huge bummer. Yeah, there’s no battery here. So on our front wheel here, they give us 19-in wheels and these really thick spokes and these knobbyby tires. So they should be good for off-roading. And so they give us these keys to open up the battery compartment here. This is the little compartment where your battery would go. If I had one is our front fender. It’s this fake carbon fiber pattern. Oh man, this certainly is a lot heavier than most ebikes. Though putting this together was certainly a lot more involved than a lot of other ebikes. You had to put the rear suspension on and the front handlebars and stuff like that, which is what you would expect. But this is a really heavy bike, so it helps to have a bike stand. But if you haven’t assembled a bike like this before, just be prepared to have a little bit more of an assembly process. Overall, it really wasn’t too bad. I got it finished in less than an hour. All right, guys. So, as you can see, it’s a few days later, and our battery came. It actually came a day earlier. It was supposed to come on Tuesday. Today is Monday. And then here is our charger. Here it is. Av charger that outputs 5 amps. So, you should be able to charge this battery up, which is 30 amps. You should be able to charge it up in about 6 hours. So, really not bad at all for that. This battery does weigh about 30 lbs. So, it is pretty dang heavy. So, altogether, this bike is going to be like around 150 lbs or so total, which is really heavy for an ebike, obviously. And I think I know why they ship the battery and the bike separate. And that’s because it’s going to be cheaper to do that because you can use ground shipping from FedEx instead of having to use freight shipping cuz their limit is 150 lbs. And altogether, this weighs over 160 170 with all the chargers and all the packaging and stuff. So, that’s why I think they had to ship it in two separate uh containers, which is kind of annoying, but I understand why they did it because a lot of people probably aren’t going to have a pallet jack at home to move this thing around. And it would have cost double. I did a rough calculation. It would have been like $1,200 versus probably, you know, $5, $600 to ship this thing. So, that’s why they ship it in two separate pallets or containers. We’ve got a really sturdy connection between the handlebars and the forks. So, we got our screen and everything installed on here, our control pads. But now, I’m just going to finish up getting the pedals on this ebike. In that battery box, they also gave us some pedals, which I totally didn’t even notice were missing from the original big box that the actual bike came in. And at first, I was like, “Dude, I do not remember the decals being pink on this bike.” It turns out it’s just a protective layer, so you can peel it right off and have the white logo underneath, which I much prefer to pink. I’ve seen a lot of people have the orange version of this bike, but they do offer a few other colors. They have the orange one. They have this blue color. And then they have a camo one. They have just a black one, too. The camo and the black color are more expensive, though, for some reason. The blue and the orange were cheaper, at least at the time when I bought this. All right, guys. I’ve got everything fully assembled here on the G300 Pro ebike. And let’s just do a quick walkthrough of this thing. This thing looks so sick. And I just love the fact that this is like a full-sized bike because I fit on my Studio good back here, but this one just feels a little bit small. It feels like you’re kind of riding a toy, almost like a kids bike. This definitely feels more like an adult bike. So, up front here, we’ve got our DY island brake, which is something that I don’t really like about this bike because these are just not adequate for this bike, especially if you’re going to have this thing longterm. We’ll talk a little bit more about that when we’re out riding. We do have pretty beefy discs right here. If I keep this longterm, I will definitely consider swapping them out. Up here, you can put a number plate. And then you see we’ve got our headlight here, which I’ll turn on in a second. It’s a white and yellow headlight. We’ve got our nice blue decals. And then our battery is right here. This is the frame. And this is the battery beneath it. I’m assuming our controller is hidden somewhere down here. Yeah, I think it is right there. I’m not going to take it out or do anything with that in this video. We’ve got our rear suspension here, which I totally forgot is an air shock. So, I should definitely get a shock pump and see what’s up with that. But, it feels really good. I did take this out for a little bit of a ride a little bit earlier. So, it feels really good, especially off-road and everything, but we’ll test that out more. You also have an adjustment here for the rebound, slow or fast. And I have it somewhere in the middle. Got a nice metal kickstand here that looks to be welded on to the frame. So, should be nice and strong to hold this heavy bike up. Got a rear set of four piston DY island brakes here in the back. 203 mm rotor here in the back. They are 180 mm on the front. So, it’s kind of weird that they have the bigger disc in the back. And on the back here, we’ve got our 6500 watt peak direct drive motor. And we’ll talk a little bit more about that when we’re out riding, but should be decently powerful for what this is. At the end of the day, it is a hub motor, so it’s not going to have the torque of a mid drive motor, but it should be enough for us to just get around and everything. And they do say that this thing can get up to about 50 mph. So, that’s really awesome. We got our rear sprocket here, and the chain is really tight on this thing. You can see our swing arm here with this nice decal on it. And this frame just feels super solid. I mean, it is steel, so it is going to be strong, but it is very, very heavy. This thing is a heavy, heavy bike. On the back here, we’ve got a brake light/turn signal, and then there are turn signals on the rear here. You can have them both running at the same time, and you can still use your brake light and your turn signals are up here. And I like how on this little menu here, there are lights to show you that the headlights on, that the turn signals on. A lot of ebikes, it just doesn’t come connected. We got our rear seat here, which is nicely padded and everything. And this is very comfortable. Then over here, we’ve got a latch with our battery in it. And then we can just open that up and drop the key. And then this is our battery here. I’m not going to take it off the bike right now, but it just slides out if you need to take it out. You can charge it on the bike. And then there’s a key here to turn the battery on and off. And then it actually has this nice little thing on the end of the key that flips down so that you can actually shut the little handle here and then close the lid. And then uh you can still have your key in there so you don’t lose it on accident. And these keys are different keys. Uh, so this one is going to be different than the battery one. So you want to make sure that you have both of these. They come with two copies of each. Here’s our pedals here. Really short little crank arms on here. This is not a bike obviously that you’re going to be pedaling much. And you want to have decent ground clearance since you might be going over some obstacles and everything. You don’t want to have uh too much going on down here so you can, you know, clear obstacles and whatnot when you’re off-roading. You can see our headlight that I was talking about earlier. You can see the beam on there. It’s got like yellow at the bottom and white at the top. But if you actually press this a few times, it turns on different each time. You got the white mode, then you have the both of them on, and then you have like a flashing mode. So, that’s kind of interesting, but looks like a pretty bright headlight. And you have a little protector over the top here. And our front forks are inverted front forks, and they have a few adjustments on here. This is the rebound. I think this might be the preload. Um, I’m not sure what G and L stands for, but somebody’s probably laughing at me right now. Then here are our inverted front forks as well. They feel really, really good. It just doesn’t compare to anything that’s on a regular ebike. It does come with these guards pre-installed to keep mud and dirt and stuff out of there. And here’s our handlebars. We have a really nice screen here in the middle. So, I have the brakes flipped on this. You guys can see they’re upside down so that I have the rear on the left if you do want to do some wheelies. You have the front on the right, but standard if you wanted to have them right side up, it would just be switched. So, your rear would be over here and your front would be here. Then you’ve got your headlight button like I showed you guys earlier. You’ve got your turn signals, which do light up when they’re on so you know that they’re running. And you’ve got a really loud horn. Get ready. It’s like an actual motorcycle horn, which is nice because you might be taking this thing on the street. So, it’s nice to have an actual good horn on this bike, but probably don’t want to be blasting that at people on the bike path. Probably not a good idea. screen here, as you guys can see, gives us our speed, our top speed, and our average speed. And then you can also switch between your odometer and your trip. So, you got your battery bar up there. And then you’ve got five different pedal assist levels. When you first turn the bike on, it’s going to be in park mode. You have to squeeze the brake levers to get it out of park mode. You got this cool little power gauge here on the left. Doesn’t really do much, but nice to see. Really nice looking display, and I think it changes automatically in the light. Then you’ve got your little remote here for the screen. You’ve got a quarter twist throttle, which is going to be a little controversial for a lot of people. A lot of people are probably going to swap this out for a full twist, which I might in the future if I hang on to this bike for a while. Overall though, this does feel more like a dirt bike than a ebike, a regular pedal ebike, cuz this thing is just so heavy. And it just looks exactly like an e-oto. So, if you’re going for that type of thing, and maybe the cops don’t bother you since you have pedals on it. Hey, maybe that’s the case. I don’t know. I’m kind of nervous to take this thing on bike trails on my normal path here. here. We’ll see if the cops give us a hard time or anything. What I look like standing next to the G300 Pro and we’ll have a seat on here. I can flat foot this thing really easily. Kickstand is nice and accessible. Um especially once the suspension compresses down. I can sit on this thing just fine. But this feels so good. This feels like an actual comfortable uh dirt bike to ride on this thing. The suspension feels really, really good. And it does feel great taking this off-road, which we’ll I’ll show you guys more of later. But yeah, just overall this thing feels really, really great. And it’s just kind of funny that it has pedals like this. Um, I’m going to see if I can try and pedal. I’m just kind of pedaling backwards here. At 5’9 with about a 31 in inseam, like it’s just kind of It’s funny how short the uh crank is on this thing. You know, you feel like you’re just pedaling super fast on this. It’s so small. But, you know, obviously you don’t care about how this thing pedals. um you’re riding this thing throttle only 99% of the time and maybe when you pass a cop you start pedaling but overall this thing feels amazing. It is very heavy. You can feel it once it starts to lean over. It’s like an actual motorcycle. You know if it tips over you’re probably going to lose the bike and drop it. So that’s something you have to be careful of too. You know if you’re not used to motorcycles or heavier bikes like this you have to make sure that you uh you know how to handle it and everything. Just my first impressions. I really like this thing a lot and I’m excited to get this out on the road and test it out and show you guys how it is. So, let’s get out there, hit the trails, and see how the Happy Run G300 Pro is out in the real world. All right, guys. So, I happen to live next to a giant field right here next to my house. So, why don’t we start off the video by going on this? You know, this is obviously a dirt bike, so it handles it really, really well. That suspension feels so good on this thing. It just absorbs all the bumps really nicely. One thing I noticed like immediately off the bat is that I think that there is a like this frame whistles in the air. It’s I know it’s a really random thing to to notice, but when I’m riding I’m like, “What the hell is that whistling?” And it sounds like it’s the frame. There’s 41 on the GPS, 42, 46, 47 on the screen, 44 on my GPS. So, yeah, this is this thing’s quick. What do you say we hop on the road and see how this thing does? Use our turn signals here to get in the turn lane. This is such a weird feeling. I haven’t been out on a bike in years. An actual uh motorcycle. And there’s trucks around here, so we’re going to make sure that the truck doesn’t hit us. But yeah, this thing feels awesome out here on the road. Can definitely keep up with a lot more traffic than you can on a typical ebike. Looks like we’re hitting about 42 right now. Feeling good. Feeling stable. These Na’vi tires are loud. There’s a motorcycle pulling up next to me. So, we hit like 45 back there on that road. It’s It’s just the big thing with this is I don’t feel confident in these brakes to stop me from traffic speeds if I have to like do a whole panic stop. That’s the biggest issue with this is the brakes. And as you guys can see, I put a mirror down here on the right. That’s just one that I already have. They don’t give you that. And that’s because I’m in a full face uh moto helmet right now. So, I can’t really see over my shoulder too well. So, I wanted to have that if I’m going to be on the streets. Just having a dirt bike frame on here with, you know, dirt bike suspension and all that, it just makes you, it really gives you the feeling of wanting to take this thing off-road more. You know, there’s a lot of ebikes that I test and I take off-road and everything. Yeah. Yeah. This is a ton of fun. There’s a lot of uh ebikes that I take off-roading and everything and they can do it, but it doesn’t feel like like I don’t necessarily want to get off-roading and and do it. One way or another, it’ll be uncomfortable. It’ll be too bumpy. You know, even the softest suspension, even like my Wired Freedom, taking that thing off-road, you can just tell it’s it’s not set up to go off-road like that. You don’t want to uh be taking it off-road. But on this, it feels awesome. It feels like it wants to. This is what it wants to do. This is a really really rough surface down here that ebikes would absolutely struggle on, and this is just handling it absolutely no problem. Now, the thing is with this, um, since this is a direct drive motor, not a mid drive, it’s not going to have as much power and torque down low as as a mid driver, even like a really powerful geared hub motor. So, we’ll just This is not a really a super steep hill, especially for a dirt bike. But, I’ll just sit here at the base of it and floor it. And you can see we’re moving up it, but not like you would expect a dirt bike to move up it. I’m kind of going in and out on these hills over here because I have some momentum. a direct drive motor like this, it really wants that momentum. It doesn’t really want to start from a uh it doesn’t really want to start from a complete stop like this. You know, I can I can shred this up over here and go up this hill, no problem when I have a run out, but you know, if I’m uh if I’m just starting at the base of the hill and kind of just flooring it up like that, it’s not as it’s not as good for that. You feel like you have adequate power and it’s kind of nice because you don’t have to worry about being too light on the throttle. like you can just kind of mash the throttle and you’re not gonna you’re definitely not going to rotate the bike back, you know? Like I’ll I’ll floor it from a complete stop here. You can see that that was absolute full throttle and I’m not going anywhere. This isn’t going to necessarily be like a a wheelie machine. I mean, you could probably practice. I’ll sit back a little bit on the seat. Come up on you, but it just it’s got that hub motor thing where it just eases you into the power and it’s not good for wheelies. the the throttle feels like there’s definitely a little bit of latency between it. It is a good throttle for like a hub motor ebike, but definitely on a mid drive bike, it’s going to be a more immediate response typically. I love the styling on this thing. I think it looks so awesome. I like the the blue on here. You know, I have a ton of orange bikes. I don’t know why orange is such a popular color for ebikes, but yeah, I love how this thing looks. It looks like a legit motorcycle or dirt bike. Um, you can see our headlight there. Maybe it’s a it’s yellow. I have it on yellow mode right now for some reason. But, you know, this thing just looks so sick. I’ve had such a good response just showing this to people and everything. It’s just such a cool looking looking bike and people really resonate with this because it looks cool. It looks like a dirt bike and everything. So, if you are wanting a Suron or a Taria or like a mid drive bike like that, a mid drive kind of emoto style bike, then this would be a good option if you’re on a budget. You know, you you still get that top speed. you you can you have a faster top speed than some Emotos do. Even my my Studio goes uh around 40 mph tuned and everything stock and that’s really cranking that. That’s really like ripping that thing at the top end of what it’s capable of. But on this you can kind of cruise at 40 and you’re not totally ringing it out. You know, you have another 5 or 10 miles an hour in the tank. But I’ve been out here kind of ripping around. I think I’ve gone probably about six, five, six miles now. Wow. That that that was quick. I put the miles on this thing quick. Let’s just rip it on this off-road a little bit. I’m sitting here going like 2 miles an hour on this off-road section on a dirt bike. Yeah, this thing feels so much fun to just rip like this. Yeah, there is that little bit of squeak coming from the back. Yeah, you know, we’re ripping at 30 mph on this. Ton of fun. These brakes, man. Oh, you got to grab them so hard. And then you have the uh the problem where you lock up the rear if you grab it too hard. It’s just oh man. The brakes are adequate, but h I just wish that they had better brakes. Like this. This would make this bike a lot lot better. Not that it’s bad. This is a ton of fun to rip around on this thing. Usually the hill tests on my test rides are some of the shortest, but on this I just don’t want to get off the grass on this thing. You know, this I just want to hit the trails and ride on this. I don’t even want to take it on the road. And you can see it’s a steeper hill and we were hitting I was full throttle right there. We were hitting a little bit of a uh we weren’t really picking up any speed on there. It felt like it was kind of dying out. We’ll go down here. Yeah, this is such a I could see this being such a good beginner friendly dirt bike because it’s not too fast. Like you can still get up to top speed, but it really eases you into it. Like it’s not you’re not going to accidentally be popping wheelies on this thing or throw yourself off the back because you twist the throttle too hard. Like this thing just feels awesome. I can crank it. It’s not going to give me any issues. This bike gives you a ton of confidence. Like I feel super confident. I feel like I can just maneuver this thing like nothing. I’m going about half throttle right now. I’m going about 28 mph. I I’m not really going to go much faster than that. I don’t want to be ripping too hard out here. But, you know, I feel the confidence where I can just, you know, transition from that and not not worry about it. I I just did that big transition through that big dip right there, that big valley, and I didn’t even have to really think about it. It just does it. It also masks the speed really nice because it is quiet. Besides the knobby tires on here, which are our knobbyby tires, they’re pretty loud. But it masks the speed really well cuz you don’t have that loud noise coming from a hub motor or especially a mid drive motor. Mid drives are so much louder than this. At first, I was a little bit confused about this bike. You know, it looks really cool. It’s got the cool styling of like a Suriron and whatever and it does go pretty fast. It’s got a pretty fast top speed and everything, but at the end of the day, it’s a mid drive bike. It’s never going to have or I’m sorry, it’s a a hub motor bike. It’s not going to have the same torque and everything as a mid drive would, a true mid drive system. So, like what’s the point of having this when you could just go out and buy a Taria or a Suron or something like that or even like a Tudio? I guess after riding this thing for a little bit, I’ve definitely changed my opinion on it. Like this is actually a really really fun bike even though it’s not a mid drive. It’s still got plenty of power. It’s still got a really good top speed and everything. You have all the looks, but you have like half the price. But that’s the big problem with mid drive bikes is they’re expensive. You know, not everybody’s going to be able to have access to that. And this is cool because you get a lot of that same feeling and look and even performance as a mid drive, but you get it for like 2500 bucks. You know, you get a lot of the cool features of an Emoto, but you get it in a package where you have a hub motor bike that’s accessible to a lot of people. This would definitely be a great first Emoto style bike because, you know, you can keep up with all your friends on Turons and stuff and you’re going to spend like half of the money that they did and you can still keep up with them and you still have that cool looking bike and nobody’s going to know the difference between a hub motor and a mid drive. Nobody cares about that. All they care about is the performance. So, I totally see the appeal of this. This is for somebody who wants to have an emoto but don’t want to spend emoto like Siron Taria type of money. Okay, this is hilarious, man. You know, I’m This thing you’re ghost pedaling after like 12 miles an hour, but I mean you are technically pedaling, right? It’s this thing is geared so short. I’m going to go even slower here just to see. All right. Yeah, I’m going to put this thing in zero and see. Oh, yeah. This is I probably look so crazy pedaling a dirt bike right now, but I mean it’s cool cuz you can do it. And I mean I think I might be going downhill right now because there’s no way that it’s this easy to pedal off the line. This thing’s got to be such a dog to to get moving. All right. Yeah. Oh god, those short cranks. Oh yeah, man. I wouldn’t want to, you know, once you get going, it’s actually not that bad. I would not want to be stuck pedaling this thing home uh if my battery died or something. But if you put it on pedals this one and pedal, you can kind of get away with it. That’s really cool. But of course, you just want to keep it on throttle only and ride. I’m sure I’m going to get some strange looks here on the bike path. That guy gave me the thumbs up. If you are going to take this thing on a bike trail like this, don’t be a dick. Don’t go fast. Don’t be doing stupid around people because you are on a very heavy bike. I like how this bike doesn’t automatically put itself in park mode either. It only is in park mode when you first turn it on. So, that’s nice. Some bikes will go into park mode after like 10 seconds, and it’s super annoying. If I was going to take this on the street all the time, like mostly street riding, I would definitely put some road tires on this cuz these knobbies are loud. They’re uh they’re kind of bumpy, too, and they’re just not great for if you’re going to be riding on the street more than you’re going to be riding on the uh on the dirt and off-road and stuff. All right, let’s do the horn. This is more loud, man. Seat on this thing feels awesome. Um, I can just keep riding this thing and it really felt hard when I first like took it out of the box and felt it, but this thing is actually it’s not soft, but it’s it’s just comfortable. Like the way it’s laid out, it feels really really good. And I could definitely put a lot of miles on this thing. I’ve been riding for about 15 miles now, and I have no complaints. I feel really good on this thing. So, we’ve gone about 16 miles right now on our ride, and my battery is only down about one bar. That’s the nice thing about having a high-powered ebike and going like slower is that you’re going to conserve your battery a lot better. So, is this bike legal? Um, now look, I’m going to refer you to your local laws because I don’t know where you’re where you live. I don’t know what state, what country, what territory you live in. So, you got to consult with your local government on that and figure that out. But, I will say this is a 6,500 W 72V bike. So, I think this is way over the legal limit of what would be considered acceptable in basically any jurisdiction, especially in America. The limit here in general for like the class 1, 2, and 3 ebike laws are 750 watts and 20 mph on throttle, 28 mph pedaling. So, really, this thing just blows those laws out of the water. Now, look, is a cop going to stop you and ask you what wattage your bike is and try and look up information? They could. There was actually a guy not too far from me in the city of uh Joliet out here in Illinois that got pulled over on a high-powered ebike, like an actual bike that looked like a bicycle, like a wired freedom or something like that, and they impounded his bike, and they really really gave him a hard time. There must have been more to that story. I think he was driving without a license. But, you know, the the point is cops will give you a hard time depending on who you get and how you approach the situation and how you’re acting out on the road. So, is this bike legal? I’m not 100% sure, but uh really I would say it’s more about how you carry yourself out on the bike trails and out on the road more so than um you know the wattage of your bike. If you’re just kind of putting along and and being courteous to other people and being nice to other people, I don’t see you having much of a problem. I’ve gotten about 24 miles of sea time on this bike and I got to say that this probably is my new favorite bike. I mean, I really love this thing. My favorite bike before that was the Wired Freedom. I would take that bike everywhere. I would ride that all the time. Anytime I’d go out on a ride, I would be like wired freedom taking that. But this bike, it just it feels really, really great and it’s quick and it’s got comfortable suspension like the Freedom does. I think that this is going to be my new favorite bike. I was kind of hesitant. I was like, maybe I’ll sell this thing. Who knows? You know, I don’t know what I’m going to do with it. I might get rid of it after I review it. But I honestly think I’m gonna hang on to this for a little bit for the time being because it really is a it’s a very comfortable bike. It’s fast and I didn’t really feel comfortable taking the Wired Freedom out on the road too much just because it was a fast bike, but it was a bicycle. You have huge 26-in wheels. You get the speed wobbles if you take your hands off the handlebars. It just didn’t feel like a a good design to be going fast. I didn’t really feel confident on that bike. But on this, I feel like I’m on a motorcycle. I feel like I’m on something that can handle the speed that it it goes. The Wired Freedom is cool, but it at the end of the day, it doesn’t really feel like it’s made to uh to go the speed that it’s made to go. All right, guys. So, the G300 Pro by Happy Run. Man, I got to say, I honestly wasn’t expecting to like this bike as much as I have. This thing has been so much fun to ride around today. I’ve gotten so many thumbs ups just riding this thing around on the bike trail and everything. Um I I really legitimately was not expecting to like this thing as much as I have, but it it is a really really fun bike. You got plenty of power to go off-road. You got plenty of power to keep up on the street if you ride it on the road. Like it’s it’s a really good package. I would say the only drawbacks are the fact that the brakes aren’t very good on here. And after, you know, getting some more seat time and riding around on this, like I said, they’re adequate, but they just don’t quite grab like these brakes should be grabbing on a on a vehicle this heavy and everything. Even on my other bike with DY Island brakes, which is way lighter than this, it still just doesn’t grab like uh other brands that I’ve had. Even some better bicycle brakes on this thing would would be good. But yeah, these brakes are disappointing on here. Everything else though feels really good when you look at it from the perspective of this being a hub motor bike. Like it feels awesome. It feels really really good for that. It’s got plenty of power and I think it would be really beginner friendly. It’s really not a scary bike to get on. You can just crank that throttle and you’re not going to necessarily just take off and fly off like you would on a motorcycle or a dirt bike. I’ve gone a little over 20 miles on this ride right now and I’ve got three battery bars left. I really haven’t been flooring it too much except in the beginning when I was on the street. But really, I’ve been keeping it under like 35 this whole time mostly riding around 20 miles an hour and I’ve been good on battery and range. I’m kind of going back and forth between three and four bars. So, really, really awesome battery life on this thing. I was worried that my battery would drain really, really quickly on this, but it seems like the battery is uh is lasting a decent amount. The seat’s really comfortable. you know, you can kind of move around back and forth on it. It’s got plenty of space even if you’re a bigger rider. Like the size is really good on this bike. I was able to get it up to about 45 46 m an hour, maybe a little bit more. I just wasn’t looking at the screen. I think 50 is like downhill and like perfect conditions on a full battery. But even now that we’ve drained the battery a little bit, uh it still feels the power still feels really really good on this. So guys, if you do want to pick up the Happy Run G300 Pro, if you’re in the market for a Emoto style bike like this, you can use the link in the description.
