The Overpowered E-Bike Nobody’s Talking About (Yet)
So, a few things I want to talk about before this video starts. If you guys entered the Alzati giveaway, so that giveaway actually ended on September 16th. Thank you to everyone who enters. All you guys actually have a higher chance of winning this than I think you guys think you do. So, this bike right here isn’t the one that I’m going to be giving away. It’s going to be a brand new one coming from Electric and Co. shipped directly to your house. So, it’s not going to have any riding on it. I’m already working on the next giveaway, which I’m excited about. Right here, check this thing out. We got a brand new Nuna stroller. Okay, this is in the works right here. No, I’m just kidding. But I’m actually thinking about giving away a brand new Altus. So, if you guys want to see that in the next giveaway, comment down below, let me know. Today, we got our hands on one of the sickest bikes on the market that I have been watching and waiting for this bike to come out. It has been in the process for a good amount of time now. You guys probably know it by the title of this video. The bike is called a Dust Moto Hightail. This thing is extremely sick. It is a competitor to the UltraB right here. This UltraB is probably upwards of close to around $20,000. And this Dust Moto is going to come in at I think it’s $10,900. And the performance honestly blew me away compared to my fully upgraded UltraV. So, this video super exciting. Dust Moto people were down here in my hometown, which is super random. Now, when it comes to the specs of the bike, I actually had Colin go through and describe everything to the tea because he could do it a lot better than I could. Yeah, I’m going to let Colin take over from here, explain to you guys what we got going on with the Dust Moto Hightail and why I think personally I think this bike is going to absolutely destroy the UltraV market. It’s going to absolutely blow it away. So, yeah, super stoked about it. Here we go. Basically, this is like a 125 250 class dirt bike. You know, the Stark Var’s up here in the 450 class. The Surirons are down here, a little bit smaller class, a little bit more pit bikey. We wanted to make a legit dirt bike that still had like the fun factor agility of like the Suriron space, but really could be fully motored. The powertrain, we’ve got a 4.4 kWh battery pack, and the motor is rated at 32 kW, a bit over 42 horsepower at nominal charge. Uh, torque is 60 new meters out of the box. So, at the wheel, it’s over 660, basically like a 450 in first gear. Sizing, you know, it’s about 2 in shorter than a full size 250 450 bike. Really similar to the UltraB. Um, wheelbase little bit longer than the Ultra B. Rake is a little bit more slack, so it’s more aggressive for hardcore riding. On the Emoto side of things, like we love the flickability, fun factor like a lot of the Emotos bring, but we wanted to make sure that the bike was durable, could handle the big hits. You can send it off ramps and you can send it off, you know, big hits out in the hills or on the track. Uh weight is right around 230. Comes stock with uh Cirrus suspension. We’ve developed this suspension kit directly with Cirrus. So, the R46 and the F43 fork. We’ve got some custom tuning, 21-in front wheels, 18-in rear as kind of the baseline Excel rims. The idea is basically this thing is ready to rip out of the box. Doesn’t need any significant upgrades. No way, guys. This is crazy. Okay, this is literally like a last minute video. Colin from Dust hit me up and was like, “Hey, I’m in your city. I got some bikes with me. You want to ride one?” And I was like, “Most definitely.” But we’re just going to ride it, get a feel for it. We don’t have any crazy crazy places we’re going to ride, but I just want to feel it, see how it is. And from the looks of it so far and just the feel of it, definitely going to be a top contender for the bikes because my Ultra B, you guys know this, it’s fully built. This thing, oh wow, it’s really smooth. This is like a contender to that. But if I’m looking at all the components and the engineering behind it, this leaves Ultrabe in the dust. So this is like proper people who actually ride that know what’s up building a bike. Oh my gosh, that’s sick, dude. It’s so smooth. It is so smooth. I don’t even really know what to say besides I’m just excited. I haven’t been this excited to ride a bike in a minute. I’m like, the timing is just like impeccable, too. I’m like, dude, this is literally perfect, dude. Okay. So, the the balance I could feel the the the little bit length difference between the Ultra B and this. I could feel the length on this bike. So, you got to drop it a little further back for the wheelies, but that means it’s going to handle a million times better on the dirt here. So, here we go. [Music] All right, we got like a little circle track here. I’m just going to run a few laps if that’s cool. I I could feel the the length though, how it’s a little bit longer for sure. But it means it’s going to handle better in the dirt. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Literally longer than Ultra, but a bit shorter than an actual 250 or something. Yeah, exactly. It’s like that perfect size that was never made, dude. Yeah, this thing is insane. Oh, don’t want to take that out. Oh, sick, dude. It’s fast as hell. Definitely don’t need to go any faster than that. Oh, dude. Now we’re talking. I could totally tell. So, this suspension feels a lot different than mine. It’s a trail, so there’ll be the one level up to like the MX. It’s like a four out of 10, and the MX will be six or seven, right? I I’m like The suspension feels really good on it, though. Corner is really good. Yeah, it’s so dry out here and I was able to like kind of just smooth around the corners. That’s right. I mean, I back it, dude. I’m like, it’s better than them being inside, you know? So, it’s like, dude, let them have fun. Bro, do you remember this? Have you seen this bike yet? What is that? It’s the Dust Hight Tail. Dude, what? Never heard of that. You’ve never heard of it? Oh, you got to check this bike out. This thing is insane. Oh, I don’t want I I’m telling you if I break it. Um Oh, no. No, you’re not. You can’t not riding it. No, no. I’m just saying you got to look it up. I thought you You got to look at it online. Dust hightail cockpit feels insanely good. I’m not even going to lie. It’s It’s still playful. So, sick, dude. It’s so nimble still. It wheelies really good. You just got to drop it a little further back cuz that longer swing arm. So, you definitely feel it. But it it’s it’s sweet. Wa! A little slick. Dude, so much power and the fact that it’s only at 70%. Plenty of power. Got to be careful. Big old boulders. Something that is built. So, that’s why we build our Ultra Bees the way we do, cuz not only does it look cool, it uh you could beat on it. You can be much more harsh with it and it can handle the beatings. A stock Ultra B could not handle the beatings that you’d give this thing. This is definitely up there with one of the sickest. Sick. Nice, dude. Yeah. I turned a corner. I was chatting with him and all of a sudden I see a dust all over. I know. I was like literally I was like, I’m going to rip up this hill real quick. The hill, dude. It’s so fast at 70%. It’s a It’s like a perfect That’s like That’s probably where I’d leave it honestly. I know. Yeah. It’s like you We want to have that headroom for like an actual track day where you need a bit more for like coming out a corner big jump, but like this is enough for most people. Oh, more than enough, dude. Like more than enough. Yep. You just pop it a little further back. Throttle tuned incredibly smooth on this. Woohoo. So, like the the ergonomics of this thing spot on. Super comfy. It doesn’t feel cockroached. It doesn’t feel choppered. It’s like dead center. Oh my gosh, it’s so rough. Yeah, these jumps are tiny for this guy, but whatever. It’s still going to be fun. Little double double right here. too. Sick. Jumps like a little bit bigger. We don’t have much jumps, but it’s just like a sand lip. There’s no Yeah. Perfect. In the winter, I’m going to come back out here and fix up all this stuff. It’s too dry right now, though. Yeah. Looks like you got the pocket of the lander. Yeah, this is floaty. I know. I need to come back here when it rains. We have no rain. Totally. This bike, I hate it some days, and I like it. See how many kicks it took me to start it, dude. That’s why you got to go E, bro. I can’t get E. Why? Too expensive. I’m balling on a budget, and I’m on a really low budget right now. Absolutely not. No. Oh. Oh. Are they bees? Run. Me, too. They got you, too. All right. Well, go, go, go, go. Get out of here. Ow. Got me. Go, go. Where’d you get hit at? Are those wasp or bees? I think they’re wasps, dude. Ow. I got my neck, bro. Can you see it? Red. Oh, yeah. I know. It got right through my shirt, dude. I feel like I should check on them. Damn it. Yeah. Well, the fire station’s right there. Yeah, totally. Hey, you good. Damn it, dude. They’re swarming my bike, dude. You’re going to have to come back for it. Hop on the back, dude. That’s not worth it. That hurts. Holy [ __ ] And those are yellow jackets, too. Is that what they were? Yeah, dude. I had like Bro, you got me right here. Look it, dude. Look, dude. I’m allergic to them, too. I’m going to have to go home. Yeah. Here. Uh they’ll they’ll leave at some point. Okay. Hold on to my waist. Okay. I think that they were in that wheelbarrow, bro. What the fre? That’s never happened to me ever. [Music] Pretty sick bike, guys. That’s it though. We’re going to cut it a little short because dude, that freaking hurt. That poor kid got stung like five times. Colin got hit. I got hit in the neck. I don’t know what happened, but that hurt like hell, dude. That sucks. All right, bikes coming in at 11 grand. We’ll say 11. You get an Ultra B, you pay the full price, you spend up to 11,000, you’re going to get nowhere near um we can go up here. Nowhere near the performance that this gives you. So, at the end of the day, this is a no-brainer. This thing is an absolute beast, dude. It’s just so playful and fun. Brainer. I feel like I can like beat on this thing, too. Oh, definitely quick. And only 70% of the power. And I don’t know if if it were me with how built my Ultra B is, I would trade my Ultra B for one of these. But absolutely one of the sickest for sure. All right, guys. That is going to be it. I want to thank Colin and Dus Moto for letting me ride this thing. Hopefully you guys kind of got an idea of what it’s like. Um the ride got cut a little short because dude, my freaking neck hurts, bro. If I’m being honest. Damn yellow jackets. He’s just talking. He’s like, “My budget’s low.” And then he’s like, “Ow.” ow. Oh my gosh. I didn’t even see it. Damn, it’s kind of numb where I got stumped. That is going to wrap it up for the dust moto. Uh, I had to cut the ride short literally cuz I got bit right here by a yellow jacket. Hope that other kid’s all right. Also, Colin got stung in the back there. So, we all got absolutely destroyed for a split second. But, for the time being when I was riding the bike, I actually really got to take a feel for it. It feels like my upgraded Ultra B but better. It’s about I believe it’s close to the same weight if I’m not mistaken. Not only that, but like when I beat on the Ultra B like super duper hard or if I’m like going to go moto it, if I land super hard case something like I’m kind of checking the bike looking over it because I’m like, “Oh shoot, that was a hard hit. I might have broke something.” On the Dust Moto, they built it specifically for like absolutely riding like hardcore. Like basically you can moto the thing. As far as street, yes, it’s going to be good on street as well. You could totally wheelie it. The swing arm is a little longer, which I could feel. Makes it more stable in the dirt, but uh on the street, you’re going to want to pop it a little further back. But throttle tune felt amazing. The brakes felt really good. They are formula brakes. I was actually surprised how much free spin I was getting on that front wheel, considering they are moto brakes, which is cool. The aesthetics of the bike actually are on point. So, they did an extremely good job. It just screams quality. So, they did a really good job on that. I’m hoping that Dus Moto and I can work together in the future. Maybe I can get a hold of one of those bikes, make some more videos, show you guys kind of I don’t know. I just like testing the bikes and kind of like really getting a feel for them, hammering down on it in some trails and everything like that. I’m more of a dirt rider, less street. Uh, and that definitely tailor towards more of the dirt riding. So, if I get my hands on one of those, I’ll be excited to make more videos on it. Hopefully, we can work together. Fingers crossed. I do love this UltraB, but also remember guys, like everything on this UltraB is upgraded. wheel, suspension, battery, controller, motor, every single little thing you have on that bike is upgraded besides the frame itself. So, the only thing that’s stuck on that bike is literally the frame. So, yeah, I don’t really have any complaints to to be honest with you on the Dust Moto. Um, besides, it’s not even really a complaint. When I was cruising down the hill and I would just let it coast, the regen would be strong, but as soon as I’d get on the throttle, the regen would it would like snap off. You can kind of see it in this clip. Yeah, guys, that is going to be it for this video. Dust Moto, if you guys want to see me get on one of these bikes and do some more videos on it, comment down below. All right, before this video does end, I I wanted to show you guys something I got in the mail from TG Racing. Check this out. Ooh, right here, boys. Never thought I would do it, but we have a shift lock for the -. Check this thing out. I’m gonna install this real quick. Every build I have practically doesn’t even tailor towards the street at all. It’s all dirt. So, I figured, you know what? The – Pro SR has the wheelie controller on it. Let’s get a shift lock on this thing. So, we’re going to install it right now. Let’s get it on. [Music] We got it all installed. Super simple. It just goes right up here, right down here. And then this just screws on from the back. Uh the logo is backwards. I think he meant maybe he thought that I was supposed to put it on the right side, but I’d rather have it on the left rather cuz that’s more similar to actually shifting and stuff on actual moto. So that’d be more comfortable for me. I think it’s just a young kid who actually runs TG Racing. So, if you guys want to go get one of these for your bikes, he makes them for the Cernons, the Tarias, Triple X’s. You want one of these, code Z is actually the highest saving discount code on their website is what he told me. So, use code Z on any of the shift locks for any of the bikes and you’re going to save the most amount of money versus all the other discount codes on there. Thank you TG Racing. That is going to be it for this video. Maybe next video we will see me ripping that thing with some wheelies. I don’t know. It has the wheelie controller on it. Okay, you guys know this. on more dirt. But having that, I’m like, you know what? One of these bikes have to have a little bit of street to it. So much. I will see you guys next Saturday. Peace.
I got my hands on the all-new Dust Moto Hightail, and this thing is seriously overpowered. It’s one of the fastest and most powerful electric dirt bikes I’ve ever ridden — and nobody’s really talking about it (yet). In this video, I take the Hightail out for a first ride, test its speed, power, and handling, and see if it has what it takes to compete with bikes like the Sur Ron, Talaria, Rawrr, and E Ride Pro. If you’re looking for the next big e-bike in 2025-2026, this might just be it. Watch until the end because this bike blew my expectations.
