Under the skin is a fifth-generation 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, which produces 105kW/215Nm, while the single electric motor has 150kW and 310Nm of torque.
They send power to the front wheels via a single-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT).
This Stepless Electric Hybrid System intelligently switches between four driving modes—pure electric, series, parallel, and energy recovery.
Allowing drivers to enjoy pure electric operation at low speeds (ideal for city commutes) and efficient fuel performance at high speeds (above 80 km/h), delivering the best of both worlds: powerful performance and minimal energy consumption.
Travelling up to 93km (NEDC) without charging, the Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery has a capacity of 18.3kWh and can be charged from 30-80% at up to 40kW on a DC fast charger in only 20 minutes. Above 30% charge, the CSH can run as a pure EV up to speeds of 120km/h.
In hybrid mode, the two units can work in unison to deliver a total driving range of 1,200km.
The TIGGO 7 CSH features the next evolution of Chery’s diamond-style front grille that will eventually filter down to the regular petrol-powered TIGGO models.
Premium design flourishes abound, including slender LED headlamp clusters that deliver a sharp and stylish road presence, while at the rear, integrated taillights further add to the premium appeal.
Helping you stay connected is a premium-focused 12.3-inch twin-screen digital dash, featuring wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, with wireless device charging and up to an eight-speaker Sony stereo system completing a segment-best entertainment package.
Chery’s “Hello Chery” voice-control feature allows drivers to operate key functions, such as opening the sunroof or adjusting the climate, without having to take their hands off the wheel. This feature enhances safety and convenience for drivers, as it reduces the need for manual interaction with the infotainment system.
