RCB G19 Electric Bike Review – Is it Affordable with GREAT SPECS?
Is everyone ready in today’s video to rock our life with the Rock Our Life G19 ebike in a nice matte black finish? We’re going to get straight into the review, discuss everything this bike has to offer and whether or not you should decide to buy it. A link to the product will be in the description down below. So the first thing we want to talk about, we’re going to start from the front and work our way all to the back is the display. So we have got a nice colorful uh display here that shows your total miles uh your speed uh and also Bluetooth connectivity as well as a power bar which shows each bar represents probably about 20%. So you can see I’ve got a full charge in different assist modes. So we go one to three. Only thing that I’d like to see on the display is maybe one could present a green color for economical uh riding and then two and then maybe three could be a red color for sport like sport riding and then orange could be two. That would be quite a nice contrast uh for RCB to consider on their next model. Um but apart from that, what do you think my favorite feature on the bike is? It’s going to be the bell and it is lovely sounding bell. Um, and we have got indicators as well. So, both right to left indicators. So, I’m going to demonstrate the right indication for you. Now, these are progressive indicators. These are the type of indicators that you’re going to see on modern cars, modern sports cars, um, where they progressively indicate rather than just indicate. And it’s one thing seeing indicators on a bike. It’s another them being that progressive uh and modern. So, really nice what our CB has done here. So, my viewers hate me waffling on, but I’m just going to quickly touch upon the brakes. Nothing special. They are cable operated and for the power of the bike delivers a 15.5 mph. These brakes will bring you to a pretty good quick stop. So, I’m always honest with my viewers. Um, and this seat for the journeys that I’ve ridden on it, really comfortable. So when you sit on it, uh it’s really cushioning everything and you don’t come with an achy achy backside uh after getting off. And we do have the optional pillion uh as well. So this if you don’t want to have a pillion on your bike, you just untach the two bolts either side down there as well. Um and this will give you full use of the suspension on the bike uh for a solo rider. Um but really nice seat. They’ve done a really fantastic job here. Something else to mention because you don’t want your pillion just dangling their legs while riding. They’ve actually thought about putting foot rests for your passenger. And added uh portability, they do fold away. So, really nice. Should we should we take a look at the tires now? So, these tires are 20×4 in. They’re giving you improved grip on the on the bike, just better handling overall. And really, my favorite part is they look really aggressive and mean. Um, but there are some drawbacks to it with reduced fuel economy, but on the other side, it’s going to give you better traction and help you in adverse weather. So, I really like fat tire ebikes. So, the mud guards on the bike, they are uh both front and rear. This is just really going to prevent anything from being splattered up your backside because that’s the last thing you want on a long journey where where it’s going to be muddy, going to come home and all your clothes going to be dirty. But this will stop that from happening. We’ve got a really nice front headlight on this uh RCB bike. So, you’d expect a traditional ebike for smaller smaller front lights, but this is almost the size of a motorcycle. Um, and it delivers the same sort of power that you’d expect. So, when I turn the light on, you can see how bright it is. That’s really going to help you in adverse weather conditions or if you decide to venture out into the dark. So, another great feature of this bike which really helps with the safety again and they’ve really thought about it is having a rear brake light because on most bikes you’re just going to have one static red light and this doesn’t show when you’re intending to slow down to other road users. Um, this is just going to prevent people from rear ending you. So, when I hit the brakes, you’re going to see the brake light illuminate. And this works for both brakes as well rather than just the rear brake. They’ve wired it in on the wiring harness so it goes from both brakes rather than just the rear brake. It’s really nice what they’ve done. So, this battery is removable. It’s 48 vol 20.8 amps and that’s 960 W of capacity. And this will give you 90 km of range. That’s quite a lot of range. But this ultimately depends on how heavy you weigh, what the temperature is. In colder conditions, you’re going to get less in road conditions and how fast you are riding it. But ultimately you can expect around that sort of range for the bike. And we do have the throttle on top. And you might be thinking, well, Alex, the throttle is illegal to have on an ebike. Well, in actual fact, as long as it assists you, it’s called like a walkive or assistive mode. So, it assists you up to 4 m an hour, then it’s legal. So, when you twist the throttle on the bike, it will only go up to 4 miles an hour, which you can see in the corner of the video. Um, and it won’t bring you any faster. And that’s literally just to get you going so you can pedal. So it is a road legal ebike. And then for the motor, this also meets the EAPC standards, which I’ll bring up on screen briefly now for you. Um, and this is 250 W of power. Um, so it won’t deliver a lot of power like the bigger ebikes that you’ve seen on my channel, but this will be a road legal option. And this is ideal if you plan to use it to cut your transport costs down. I hope this video has managed to rock your life to consider buying the Rockar Life G19 ebike. I managed to get this up on my phone here and you’ll be able to see um that is currently retailing on offer for £999. Was £1,800. So that’s a saving of £800. Two colors currently available and that’s black and dark green. I would go for the black. It just got really nice color coordination to it. Um, and it’s suitable for anyone between 160 cm to 210 cm. Uh, and there is also an app with it you can download, uh, and an NFC lock as well. But overall, this bike is really ideal.
