1000W E-Bike That Feels Like a Motorcycle | VARUN Raptor Explorer Review

What is up, guys? Today we have the Verun Explorer Raptor. So, they sent me this eBike. This has a range of up to 87 mph. So, that’s absolutely insane. Um, you could get it in two colors, black and white or orange. I got it in the black and white. This ebike right here has a 1 W motor, a 48 volt by 31 12 amp hour battery in it. So, pretty impressive. We’re going to get this open, test all that out, and yeah, let’s get to it. [Music] All right, let’s see how it’s looking inside. Packaged really nicely. Here’s what the lights looking like. One feature that’s really cool about this bike is how they include a basket. So, it goes right under. So, that’s pretty awesome. All right. And here’s the blinkers that I was talking about for the back. So, you get blinkers. So, that’s pretty sick. Then, I’m guessing these are the blinkers for the front. All right. So, I got everything laid out. See the warranty card, the user manual, the lights, pedals, keys, charger, fender, blinkers, basket, and this, I’m guessing, is going to be the tools. Yeah. So, we have everything we need. I like how nicely like, you know what I mean? Like they have everything packaged. Pretty sweet. Shout out to Ver Run. It’s already off to a good start. Look at this nice LCD screen. So sick. I’m super excited about this one, guys. I’m not going to lie. This one is definitely like the first one that I got of this type right here. See, it’s pretty comfortable, too. And look where the batter is being held at. That’s so sick. It’s like secured in there. You know what I mean? It’s a pretty big battery, too. I mean, for it to go 87 miles in range and 28 mph, which I think it goes faster than 28 mph. I think they just have to put that because in the United States, the legal limit is 28 mph. Um, so, but I think this does go faster. So, that’s pretty sweet. So, we’re going to go ahead and, you know, finish setting this up. It shouldn’t be that hard. You know what I mean? It’s like the every other one that I haven’t received before. So, we’re going to go ahead and set this up and um yeah, we’ll record that as well. First step is going to be to put the tire onto the forks. They do provide you with the tools. So, that’s pretty sweet. Really professional, Verun. Really professional. The wheels done. Let’s put some air in it. Shout out to Nexpel for sending me their tire inflator. Works really easy and honestly, in my opinion, it’s like the simplest one on the market and it’s affordable, too. Let’s see how fast it gets this fat flat tire pumped up. All right, power it on. I’ll just go ahead and trim it down. What’s the max PSI on this? Inflate to 20 PSI. All right, and start it. [Music] All right, fully pumped. I stopped it at 19.5 PSI. I don’t want to overinflate it. All right. Next is to take these screws off for the fender. And then we’re going to place the fender on. It comes with the washer, too. So, make sure to grab the washer as well. [Music] See how it’s looking so far? Pretty nice, guys. Pretty nice. All right. And this part’s a little different. I never seen handlebars like this, but we have to unscrew these two and then we we’ll slip the handlebars right in. But that’s like a way easier way to like, you know what I mean, put these in. And another thing, too, about it, it looks nicer like that in my opinion. All right, let’s get these screws off, guys. There’s just four screws that you need to take off. All right, now we just slip them in. All right, that looks about right. Let’s go ahead and get these screws in now. So, pretty much the same thing now that the handlebars are in. All it does is really just tighten it to hold it in place. This is just the boring stuff. I’m just screwing it all in. But yeah, so you got to do this side and then the other side and your headlight’s good. All right, that’s not going anywhere. All right, that’s how it looks so far. And then we got to connect the pins. All right, so we got to connect these two cables to the red cables and then the white the blue cable to the blue cable. Pretty straightforward. All right, next step is going to be the tail lights. Got to place this in here and then just screw them in. So simple. Tail light finished. So I got the basket in. All that good stuff. And I think that’s about it, guys. That is how it looks complete and set up. It’s dead right now. So, I’m going to put it to charge and then yeah, I’ll do a full review. Goodbye. All right, guys. So, you probably seen by now I’ve been riding it. It rides really smooth. The suspension in the front is awesome. Yeah, I have zero complaints about this ebike. I mean, I wish it could go a little bit faster. You know, the top speed is 28 mph, but that probably has to do with how much range you’re getting. You’re getting about 87 mi in range, so absolutely insane. If you guys are looking for a good commuter, this is probably going to be it. It feels like a motorcycle. It rides like a motorcycle. Yeah, you get the blinkers in the front. I mean, in the back and as well as the front. So, absolutely crazy, guys. 20×4 in off-road tires. You get this nice basket. So, if you want to store stuff, you can definitely do that. You have the on and off key. So, this also locks the battery in place, too. You have the light, blinkers, super loud horn, power on for display, shimano, seven-speed gear system, battery holder. It’s a really sweet ebike. Verun really knows what they’re doing. Yeah, guys, this is how it looks. Pretty sick. Pretty sick. Show you guys the front real quick. See the nice LCD display right here. Feels really good, too. This seat’s nice and comfortable, too.
