Do you like it? Mercedes-Benz GLC Electric revealed with an imposing grille. #mercedes #glc #cars

Ready for a shock? This is the new Mercedes-Benz grill, and we’re seeing it for the first time on an allnew model. This is the GLC electric, which replaces the old EQC, and will probably also replace the EQE. It’s designed to look more like a normal Mercedes, but would we call this front end normal? It’s got more than 900 backlit segments, and around the back, also a thick full width light bar and loads of stars in the lighting. There’s no mistaking this for anything other than a Benz. Stepping inside, it has the largest screen ever used in a Mercedes, fully coast to coast. However, it’s not all entirely high-tech. We still have nice elements like wood trim, available real leather, and a more ergonomic steering wheel with rollers. Out on the road, it’s got an 800 volt charging architecture. It’s initially a dual motor all-wheel drive only, over 700 km of range, 360 kW of power, and under 5 seconds from 0 to 100 with rear wheel drive and likely AMG models set to follow later on. The launch date in Europe is the first half of 2026. Expect to see the GLC EV on Australian roads not long after that. But what do you think?
