Ginger’s #Nissan350Z gave her joy when she needed it most.

My Nissan is my joy. Talked to a friend and told him that I was looking for a sports car and he goes, “Oh, the 350Z’s by Nissan are coming out. It’s a whole new model.” So, I went down to the Nissan dealer and ordered one. Then I um got diagnosed with breast cancer. The car gave me something to look forward to. As I was going through my surgeries and my radiation, I was waiting for the car to come in. It gave me the hope and the joy that I really needed. I remember sitting in that car the first time and it fit me like a glove. And I’d never experienced anything just for me like that in my life. This is such a sturdy, safe car. I respect my car, so I take the best care I can of it. roaring down the road. I was in complete control of something in my life. When you have breast cancer, you’re not in control. You don’t know what’s going to happen. You don’t know the outcome. I’ve gone through three bouts of breast cancer, and every time I get in this car and drive it up in the mountains, I feel blessed. It literally gave me a reason to get better. It was an accumulation of hard work and trust and power and pure joy for me. I mean, who wouldn’t want to drive this beautiful little car? [Music]

Ginger’s #Nissan350Z gave her more than a ride – it gave her hope. Through three bouts of breast cancer, her Z was a symbol of strength, joy, and control. It fit her like a glove then, and still does now.
