2026 Volvo XC70: 462 HP Plug-in Hybrid Crossover 1,200 km Total Range
The new Volvo XC70 SUV is the first long-range hybrid vehicle from Volvo Cars, offering a fully electric range of over 200 km.
Thanks to innovative technologies, advanced safety systems, and elegant Scandinavian design, the XC70 is the perfect choice for families seeking maximum comfort and modern style.
The XC70 is equipped with a hybrid powertrain that combines a 1.5-liter gasoline engine and three electric motors, providing all-wheel drive. The total power of the system reaches 340 kW (462 hp), allowing the car to accelerate to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds.
The crossover is equipped with a 39.6 kWh battery and supports fast-charging technology, allowing it to charge from 0 to 80 percent in just 23 minutes and achieve a total driving range of up to 1,200 kilometers.
Inside, the XC70 features three screens, including a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15.4-inch infotainment display. It can also be equipped with an optional 92-inch augmented reality head-up display.
Among other highlights are heated rear seats, ambient lighting, and a three-zone climate control system with a dedicated rear display. Volvo also mentions an AI-powered voice assistant that makes it easy to call friends, control vehicle functions, and search for information online.
The Harman Kardon audio system, with 23 speakers, delivers an immersive sound experience.
With the help of radars, cameras, and sensors, the XC70 constantly monitors its surroundings, helping to prevent collisions and enhancing urban safety with a door-opening warning function.
For a relaxed driving experience, the XC70 also offers intelligent driver support, such as automatic lane change assist, Park Pilot Assist and active navigation support.
The model is offered in seven body colors, with prices starting at 62,000 US dollars.
