Artist of the Future Prize JUDGE Spotlight: Matthias Hossan

We caught up with one of the judges, Matthias Hossan, Peugeot Head of Design to talk about digital art and its place in the museum:
“Creativity and innovation are truly linked. They are the core of our design language. This culture of innovation is what drives us everyday.”
Hossan is Peugeot’s Head of Design, most recently responsible for the latest E-3008 and E-5008 designs, not to mention the highly anticipated E-208 GTi. Hossann graduated from the Strate Design School and has been at Peugeot since 2013. Highly respected in his field, Hossann is considered to be one of the most talented designers of his generation. Through him, Peugeot has established itself as an innovator in the tech, design, and visual art spaces.
The prize aims to promote and showcase new and inspiring digital art being created in the UK & Europe today. Entrants are invited to submit digital works and supporting statements on the theme of ‘Innovation’.

Works by a selection of shortlisted artists will be exhibited at Saatchi Gallery, London in Winter 2025 and the overall winner will receive a prize valued at up to £10,000.
