2025 Toyota Tundra vs 2025 Ford F-150 Comparison | Toyota

The 2025 Toyota Tundra versus the 2025 Ford F-150. Which of these full-size pickups offer the most well-rounded capability? Let’s find out. Tundra’s i-FORCE twin-turbo V6 engine comes with more standard
horsepower and torque than the Ford F-150. Tundra wins out over F-150 when it comes to comfort,
thanks to features like an available Adaptive
Variable Suspension. Available features like
a Multi-Terrain Monitor and Front and Rear Parking
Assist with Automatic Braking prove that Tundra’s
conveniences beat out F-150’s. Now, let’s put Tundra
and F-150 side by side. Tundra’s seven-grade lineup offers plenty of choices. There are premium models,
off-road variants, two-cab styles, three bed lengths, two or four-wheel drive configurations, and an available hybrid powertrain. F-150 offers something similar across its eight grades, some of which can be equipped with an available hybrid powertrain. Two or four-wheel drive configurations are also available on F-150. Tundra impresses by offering more standard horsepower
than F-150 can muster. Its standard i-FORCE twin-turbo V6 engine generates up to 389 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque, which F-150’s 325 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of
torque fails to match. Tundra’s performance is amped up further by the potent i-FORCE MAX hybrid system with 437 net combined horsepower and 583 pound-feet of torque. F-150 also offers an available Powerboost hybrid option with similar output to
Tundra’s i-FORCE MAX system. For improved off-road-performance, Tundra TRD Pro includes a
TRD Pro-tuned suspension with Fox Shocks. F-150 offers this feature
on its Raptor grade. But F-150 does not have an answer to Tundra’s available
Adaptive Variable Suspension, which is designed to
help make the ride smooth no matter the road surface. Plus, Tundra has a maximum
payload of up to 1,940 pounds, and a max towing capacity
of 12,000 pounds, giving drivers plenty of
flexibility for carrying gear. F-150 has a max payload
of up to 2,440 pounds and a max towing capacity
of up to 13,500 pounds. Finally, the available Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension is designed to help keep
the truck’s body level when carrying or pulling heavy loads, allowing it to stay stable on the road. Although F-150 doesn’t
have anything similar to Tundra’s Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension, it does have an available
Trailer Sway Control system. Tundra’s rugged design helps it stand out. Just consider the TRD Pro grade’s standard heritage-inspired Toyota grille with integrated light bar. And while F-150 has an
off-road-inspired exterior on its Raptor and Tremor grades, as well as skid plates
and body side decals on its FX4 Package, these features simply can’t offer the heritage-inspired look that Tundra’s new TRD Rally Package does. It includes 18-inch TRD
Off-Road alloy wheels with all-terrain tires, a Tri-color decal on the grille, front door, and tailgate, an off-road suspension
with Bilstein shocks, a TRD exhaust, a red TRD
engine start/stop button, and sport pedals. Both trucks do feature an
available power tailgate, and power-retractable running boards with a retractable bed step. However, F-150 doesn’t have an equivalent to Tundra’s standard
aluminum-reinforced composite bed. Step inside the 2025 Tundra’s cabin and experience features
like available heated, ventilated, and massaging front seats, and available heated and
ventilated outboard rear seats. F-150 does have available
heated outboard rear seats, but it does not have a
ventilation function. Plus, select Tundra grades have an available panoramic moonroof, genuine wood trim, and available two-tone interior that really add that premium feel. F-150 can also be equipped with features like a twin panel moonroof and genuine wood trim on select grades. For added convenience, Tundra and F-150 have an available Qi-compatible wireless charger that’s designed to keep
smartphones charged. Tundra also has an available 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, which is slightly larger
than F-150’s available 12-inch Digital Productivity Screen. On higher grades, both trucks offer an available head-up display designed to put important
information front and center. The Toyota Audio Multimedia
platform on Tundra makes cutting-edge connectivity standard. There’s a standard 8-inch and an available 14-inch touchscreen, the latter of which beats
out F-150’s 12-inch offering. This interface includes
standard wireless compatibility for Apple CarPlay, which connects drivers to the apps on their iPhone, including maps, messages, podcasts, and music subscriptions. In addition, wireless
Android Auto compatibility makes it easy to stay
connected to Android devices, and access various apps
and services from Google, including YouTube Music and Google Maps. F-150 also includes standard
wireless compatibility for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also includes a standard three-month SiriusXM trial subscription, which includes over 165
channels available in-cabin and even more on the SiriusXM app, making it easier than ever to enjoy not just ad-free music, but also sports, comedy, and more. F-150 also includes SiriusXM trials, except on the lower XL and STX grades. Select grades also include trials for Toyota’s line of Connected Services, including Safety Connect
and Service Connect, while F-150 includes
FordPass Connect trials. Additionally, Tundra has an available 12-speaker JBL Premium Audio system for a crystal-clear listening experience. F-150 offers an available 14-speaker B&O Premium Audio
system on its higher grades. All Tundra grades come with the Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 system. This includes a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Automatic High Beams, Full-Speed Range Dynamic
Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist, and Road Sign Assist. F-150 offers similar features as part of its standard Ford Co-Pilot 360. Blind Spot Monitor with
Rear Cross-Traffic Alert is also available and includes a Trailer Merge Warning system. For added convenience, Tundra’s available Trailer Backup Guide makes backing up a trailer a breeze, while the available Panoramic View Monitor and available Front
and Rear Parking Assist with Automatic Braking are designed to help the driver maneuver
the vehicle in tight spaces. F-150 offers similar features including the available
Trailer Backup Assist, and available 360-degree
camera system on select grades or as part of an optional package. Tundra can also be equipped with an available Multi-Terrain Monitor, which lets the driver see
the area around the vehicle, it’s a feature that F-150 does not have. Every 2025 Tundra comes with ToyotaCare, which includes two years or 25,000 miles of scheduled maintenance,
whichever comes first, and two years, unlimited mileage 24-hour roadside assistance. F-150 has industry
standard warranty coverage of three years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first, and five years or 60,000
miles of roadside assistance, whichever comes first. And Tundra’s hybrid grades raise the value proposition further with a hybrid system warranty that covers select components for 8 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first, and a 10-year or 150,000-mile
hybrid battery warranty, whichever comes first. F-150 falls behind with its eight-year or 100,000-mile hybrid
components warranty. With its highly capable lineup, it’s no wonder why the Toyota Tundra remains such a smart choice
among full-size pickups. Discover Tundra today at Toyota.com.

It’s no wonder the 2025 Toyota Tundra wins out against the 2025 Ford F-150. Higher horsepower capability, adaptive variable suspension, multi-terrain monitor and front and rear parking assist are just some of the many reasons Tundra’s conveniences supersede F-150’s offerings.
