Is This the Best Ebike Deal of the Year?
and welcome back to the channel. On this video, I want to talk about and going to ride as well the Kingbull Light Rider 2.0. As you see it right there, this is a folding class 3 ebike. And this bike uh has the rack that comes with it right here on the back. This rack is capable of uh um carrying up to 150 lbs. And I can’t find too many things or anything really wrong with it. I like the step through as you see right here. Now, I’m just able to get on it without a problem because, let’s face it, as we get a little bit older, um, it gets a little harder to throw our legs up over the bike to get on it. So, I have become a big fan now of the step through models and because it does make it easier to get on and off. Not that I can’t get on or off the other bikes. I’m I’m still not there yet. I can still do it, but sometimes if you have cargo on the back of your bike on the rack, then you got to throw your leg up over that as well. So, it makes it really difficult to get your legs uh you know, your leg clear of that and up onto the bike. And the other thing is I’m not a real tall rider. I’m 5′ n so little bit shorter legs, right, than a guy who’s 6’2 or something. So, I have to throw my leg up, you know, my shorter legs up over all that. So, anyway, I think it’s just more convenient. Makes it much easier to get on. But these I wanted to talk a little bit too about folding bikes in general. So, I was doing some research and um I wanted to see right now what is the what is the big biggest selling style of bike because you know we’re all the time we’re evolving and right now in 2025 so far this folding bike has become the number one selling style of ebike in 2025 in the US. Um, and there’s so many advantages of having a a folding bike. If you’re limited for space where you live, you know, you might be in an apartment or you don’t have a garage to put your bike in. Then you know uh this bike becomes very convenient because it can fold if necessary. Didn’t know if that guy was turning right or left. I couldn’t see. He was right beside me and obviously couldn’t see a signal because he was not far enough ahead. So, yeah, there’s there’s conveniences. And then if you want to take it with you to go, say camping, you can slip it in the back of your car. Goes right in the trunk, no problem. And like I say, with that rack on the back, you can also carry up to 150 lbs of cargo, which is really nice. I can’t believe the price. down to like I say $8.99 and then another 50 bucks off gets it to $8.49. That’s crazy. That’s crazy good deal. I um if anybody asks me, you know, what what bike do you recommend? This is the one now. I tell people this bike is really nice. I mean, and if they’re around me, anybody, uh, I can let them do a test ride on it, too, to see um, for themselves. It’s great. The other the other style of bikes. Okay, so I was looking up on the top three, they mentioned it said uh, number one, it said folding. Number two is flat tire. Well, this is also a flat tire, so it kind of kills two birds with one stone, right? And then the third is cargo. Okay, this bike is also, you could say a cargo bike because it does have the rack. You can carry 150 lbs. How much cargo are you going to carry? If you’re carrying beyond that, then yeah, you might have to get a true cargo bike. But gee, 150 lbs is quite a bit, I would say. So, this bike actually covers three of the top three selling categories so far in 2025 for an ebike. So, got really good brakes as you see right there. So, yeah, you kind of get all three in one bike. So, outstanding price. Got to say, even at the full price it’s been, it’s been for quite a while now. It was $9.99. Even at that price, it’s really good. But gee, take it down another 150. That’s even more impressive. [Music] Now, another bike that I also have from Kingbull, I believe it’s still on sale, too, and that’s the uh Kingbull Hunter 2.0. if you’re into a it’s a mountain bike. And that one is also right now I believe $8.99. Um I hope I’m still right on that one. I didn’t check before I uh come out for this ride, but last night last time I looked it was still $8.99. Then take the $50 off again using the code ebiker mark in the description. Uh, that would get you down to 849 once again, which is a really good deal. I got to move up further so I can see if there’s cars coming in. There’s not. So, yeah, take your pick. Both bikes. And I don’t know, they did have a deal where if you bought two, you saved additional money as well. So that if you’re interested in getting two bikes, you might actually save a bit more as well. Uh don’t don’t quote me on that, but that was the case. I don’t know if it still is, but check that out. I’m just coasting right now. My friend Keith has the I don’t want to go there. I want to go to the next one. My friend Keith has the electric 3.0 and his wife Sierra has the electric 2.0. Now, those are good bikes, but I’ll tell you my my pick. I would pick this one over those personally. I’ve tried those and I’ve tried this one [Music] and I would pick this one. This one has a little bit larger motor. It’s a 750 watt. It’s got the fat tires. I like the look of it better than the electric. Electric are I mean, let’s face it, they’re a big big name, right? They uh have a reputation. But I think once people get to know King Bull more and get to ride them, they’re going to find out how good these bikes are. They’re they’re really, really good. I’m definitely a big fan. And I would highly recommend anybody to at least check it out and see. And this color, I got to admit, is really cool. This purple, they got another color. They call this sand purple. So, it’s kind of like a metallic. You can see the uh kind of the silver almost like sparkles. And there’s there’s another one that looks really good, the color, and that’s the sand green. That also looks really good. Um I believe it comes in black and white as well. It’s nice to get a different color though than let’s face it, most of the bikes are either going to be black, silver, or gray or white. Those are the most common and then sometimes red. But those are the three that you seem to see the most. You know, it’s kind of nice to get a different color just to change it up, you know. I I really like the display too on this bike, how big the numbers are. Yeah, it’s it’s hard really to find anything wrong with this bike that I that I don’t like. Um so I don’t know. Oh, I don’t know what negative to say about it. I I can’t even I can’t even think of a con, especially at this price point. I can’t think of It’s not a full suspension, but are you going to get a full suspension bike for $800 right now $49? I don’t think so. But with the fat tires though, that kind of the fat tires absorb the bumps a little more. So, you don’t really feel it that much. If you had a full suspension, the bike, the price of the bike’s obviously going to go up. You’re not going to get no $849 full suspension. There’s no way. If you are, it’s going to be really, really cheap. And this battery really nicely integrated down here into the down tube. Beautiful look. Uh, the battery is a 15 amp hour, too, which is really nice. Okay, this is where everybody says, “Well, are you going? I’m going. Wait, who’s going to go?” kind of thing. So, I’m going. If you think differently and you think that you’ve got a folding bike that you think is better than this one and a better deal. Please, by all means, as I duck the branches, let me know in the comments what you’re on and what you’re riding and why you like that one uh so much. Let us know. But I’m not surprised when I read where the number one style of ebike right now so far in 2025 has been the folding bike because when I’ve gone on trails lately, there’s been quite a few bikes and a good number of them have been folding ebikes. You can tell. So, I’m not really surprised that that’s the big I want to turn there, but hey, buddy. Oh, I can’t can’t have that guy show me up. Well, maybe I can. I’m not going to try to chase him. I’m going to miss my turn if I do. I put it in pedal assist five. Yeah, I want to turn here. By the way, that was a young kid on a bike that not even sure if he was old enough to be on a bike. He looked like he was about 13 or 14, but that’s for another day.
