The all-electric MINI Countryman explores LA in one charge.

If anyone’s told you anything about Southern California, it’s that we have both the mountains and the beach. So, today we’re going to go to both on a single charge in our all-electric mini countrymen. Let’s go. And here’s the kicker. We’re going to do the whole trip in a single charge. But today is more than just a mini road trip. It’s about appreciating the natural wonders right here in our backyard. and busting the myth that EVs can’t handle a full day of adventure. Drive east on Carlin Street, then turn left onto South Car Avenue. We started our day where my heart truly belongs, the beach. Since I grew up in LA, I’ve always had a deep connection with the ocean, and surfing makes me feel incredibly close to the earth. After a quick rinse, we were off to our next spot. What? This never gets old. What? We stopped at a local market to grab some snacks for our hike later, then visited another local gem, our friend’s cafe. We love to co-work here during the day and listen to their vinyl record collection and come back at night for their wood oven. The best in town if you ask me. From there, we headed inland for a firsttime experience, witnessing the super bloom in Chino Hills. This is a phenomenon that happens in the spring after we get a wet, rainy winter, making the wild flowers bloom in a fantastic way. The coolest part is the drastic transition from our dry, somewhat barren landscape to these colorful and vibrant masses of flowers. It was beautiful. And now for our third and final stop of the day, we’re heading up to Mount Baldi, the highest peak in Los Angeles. That’s crazy. We still have 98 miles left. Okay, this is pretty nuts that we went from palm trees to pine trees in the same day. Okay, you want to go for a little hike? Yet, even a couple of hours in nature reminds us of our deep connection with her, inspiring us to unplug from our phones and venture outdoors more often. Feel like every time we come up here, we remember how close it is, you know? Like this was an hour away from home. It’s crazy how it’s like all in our backyard. Took us one drive to get here. Yeah. Well, we I don’t know. Life gets busy and gets crazy and we come up with a thousand excuses on why we can’t come up here. This is the coolest part. 44 miles now, but once we get to the bottom of the mountain, I guarantee we’re going to generate more. Yeah, it’s magic turn. We just doubled and then some. That’s crazy. That’s crazy. Okay, let’s run it back. 10 out of 10 day. It was an insane day. Started at the beach, got to jump in the water, went to Chino Hills for our first time to see the super gloo. So cool. It’s very cool. And then to the top of Mount Baldi. Got to see pine trees and animals. We did all of that on a single charge. Today is evidence that you can still go on adventures and road trips in electric vehicles. Let’s go inside.

From Venice Beach to mountain peaks, LA local @ReLauren shows us the perfect Californian day – surf, sand, and sunset hikes. All in one charge with the all-electric MINI Countryman.
