The Freakin Shredder test ride on Shandoka 15KW rated electric motorcycle at Micromobility America

So, of course, everybody likes to do high-speed pushes and run to see what something will really do, but I also would like you to see what it does at really low speed maneuvering. See how stable this is because the weight’s down low and it’s a full-size bike and we really worked hard to modulate that throttle so you can go low speed. So see how that low speed maneuvering is would be like in a parking lot and then and then do your your burnouts. But it’s not as heavy as the So you start to level through, I guess. [Music] Put on the second gear. Freaking torque. Freaking torque for the freaking shredder.

You may have seen our new friend The Frickin’ Shredder on a lot of micromobility scooters and mopeds, so of course we were excited to share our massively more powerful electric motorcycle with him. You know by that big grin at the end he had a great Frickin’ time!!

In November 2024 we took our powerful, street legal Yamaha motorcycle converted with the Shandoka adapter system for pure battery electric drive. It was mostly e-bikes and electric skates at this event but a few other mid-size electric motorcycle manufacturers were at the event too.

The Freakin Shredder was definitely impressed with the power and comfort of a larger machine like our 1982 Yamaha Maxim XS400. This retrofit system is how we build motorcycles that can be upgraded forever – you aren’t stuck with the tech from the year you buy it. As batteries get better, you can simply upgrade your existing bike to gain range and power density.
