“Why are Used Electric Vehicles at UK Auctions Increasing in Value ?”

So, here we go. Part three of this monster sale that was on the 9th of July from Shore and Car Auction. So, this is the last bit. Let’s just get straight into the sale. But if you’ve enjoyed this, leave a comment. Don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe. But thanks for watching part three. Next, Tesla Model Y allwheel drive on a 22 plate done 28 cap clean is 232. It’s at 22 in fridge white grade three. Oh, it’s got some That’s the roof lining, isn’t it? Yeah. Needs a bit of TLC that might hold it back. Uh, it’s got the white interior which is in its favor, but you do need to bit Yeah. provisional. You see, when there’s that many around, you don’t want to do a lot of um repair work. BMW time again. The i4 the e drive 40 m sport 83.9 kwatt hour in the orange 24 plate done 11,000 miles cap clean is 342 um yeah look at that face on that right let’s have a look at the old guess meter can’t see a lot of info there but yeah each of their own. Depends on the spec. Got a bit of sort of suede leather going on in there. Yeah. I4 £32,000 is where it’s been starting and the hall bid and an online bid. Cap clean is 342 grade two I4 333 still from Zenith 24 plate could be an early return still under warranty of course on a 24 plate 341 342 so we’re up to cap clean now it’s a grade two 346 £270 in fees on top folks which is cheap by auction house standards for this zenith sale. 352,000 over the trade guide price for something with a beaver face. 352 that will sell sold 352. Scoda Enyak Volkswagen underneath Ecoe 82 kWh five door with 125 kW motor. Uh 80 no 150 kW 80. Sweet. That might be the charge speed actually. Uh 22 play 27,000 miles in sort of the minty green. 20,400 is its guide price and it’s grade one. Just a type two cable there. Warning lights. Oh, is this is the one with the airbag, isn’t it? That I honestly think is just the fact they’ve not turned the airbag passenger lights off. But it either way it sold in 193. Right. Here’s something different, folks. The BYD seal. Um, that’s impersonation of a seal. Allwheel drive 83 kWh. This is an i3 an i3. Uh, Tesla Model 3 contender. Lots of great reviews about these. Um, guide price is 343. BYD seal. Nice. X lease. Yeah, nice and slippery through the air. Nice interior. Look at that. Yeah, get good reviews. These 331 might still be a bit of uneasiness amongst the trade cuz BYD, you know, haven’t got much of a track record yet for them to feel confident to buy something. 74 plate, still under warranty. One key. um 3,000 miles registered January this year, 13th of January 2025 and that is sold at 336. Mercedes Iben’s EQB 215 kW, 66.5 kWh is the size of the battery. 4,900 miles should be 313. uh for people that love the old Mercedes-Benz badge, it’s uh something they might enjoy. So, we’re looking at where are we? I say that’s half. I’d say that’s about 70% state of charge and showing 165 on the Gesso meter. And you also get lemon squeezes in the dash. Uh that sold for 318. Nice. Next is Peugeot E 2008 the 50 kWh the GT just a trim level 13,000 mi in the blue uh still with Zenith vehicle contracts cap clean is 13150 is up to 125 grade one looks nice in the blue not very efficient but not everybody wants efficiency they want something nice and blingy to go down the shops in which is fine 131 one. This will sell 132.50 over what the trade says it’s worth. I think there’s going to be a major reshuffle in the next few weeks on cap values. 134 and that is sold 134. Another Citroen C4, the EC4 shine 50 kWh Stellantis car. Cap clean is 9975. 23,000 miles grade one in the gray 71 plate 95 is up to the EC4 shine. It’s got not as high driving position on these. 48 miles left and it’s about a third full and that is sold for I missed it. Come on. You going to catch up? What did that sell for? There we go. 97. Right, it’s Vauxhall time. Vauxil Corsa. Again, it’s a Stellantis car. So, it’s the same as the Peugeot E208. Um, 50 kWh 11 kW AC onboard charger. 11,000 mi in the red. Cap clean is 108. It’s a Corser. They always end up depreciating courses. Got some wheel scuffs going on there. Um, yeah, it’s okay. It’s a breadand butter car if you like. Grade one. And that is sold at 11,100. Another Audi Q4 150 kW 82 kWh sport five door gray. Uh 6,744 miles on a 23 plate. Grade one spec. Spec spec is what I’m going to say. Service indicator fault light illuminated. That’s just Audi saying bring it back to us so we can charge you to inspection due. So, we can charge you for topping up screen wash and kicking the tires. That’s basically what it means. And uh we haven’t got any leather going there. So, it could be like a Bobby basic spec. So, cap clean is 241, but most buyers of German vehicles to sell on want a bit of leather because buyers like a bit of German leather. 239 24. I haven’t said that. I’ve just proved myself wrong, haven’t I? 241 is cap clean. And there it goes. 6,700 miles. Sport trim. Don’t know what that means. Uh we got any blingy tires going on there. Uh wheels. Oh, quite nice wheels. £25,000. £1,000 over cap clean. Maybe it has got some nice spec. Sold 251. MG ZS trophy. Uh, it’s the facelift in the blue. 22 plate done 14,000 miles. Should be 14450. And it’s grade one. Got a little chip there. That will touch in really easy. Uh, warning lights illuminated fault. What’s that then? Let’s have a quick look before it disappears. Where’s the warning lights, folks? Uh, can’t see it on there. Don’t know. Uh, where are we? 22 plate, threeyear warranty. I think it’s a three-year warranty. So, it might just be out of warranty. 136. But lots of heavy garages around with the software to be able to fix any EV, even relatively modern ones. 138 on one service print at 10 14 two 142 sold 142 Audi Q8 250 kW 95 kWh sport auto they’re all automatic 23 plate 13,000 mi should be £32,000 on the nose you know what I’m going to say depends on the spec service indicator is a fault. Bring it to us so we can charge you an arm and a leg for some screen wash and kick the tires and make sure it’s not going to burst into flames at any point in time. Um, can’t really see there. 73 miles left and we’re at what 25%. Um, big fat stalking battery just not very aerodynamic. is up to 30,800 grade one and that is provisional MG4 Sspec grade two 7,600 miles on a 23 plate. Is this the standard range? I’m thinking because it doesn’t say long range, I’m guessing it’s the standard range. 45% 124 miles. That’s 250. No, this will be the long range one. This will be the 64 kWh. But Shroom really needs to stop putting the battery size on the listing for MG4s. That is sold 126 Tesla Model Y longrange allwheel drive 22 plate 42,000 mi grade one. £22,000 is the suggested guide price. Got three pin cable there as well. They dropped the three pin cable because they realized from their data that nobody was using them. It was like 99.99% of owners never actually used the three pin cable. So, they dropped it to save money, which sort of makes sense to me. And three pin granny cables are generic for type two. So, you just use any or buy an aftermarket one. 20,000. Let’s go back. I’ve been messing about with the prices. sold 20,900 Mercedes-Benz EQC 400 300 kW AMG Lime Premium Plus 80 kWh 5 door auto grade one on a 72 plate registered February 2023,000 miles. 29,650 is its guide price. Got some service history going on in there as well. Uh 171 mile range just over half. So that’s not too shabby, is it? And that was provisional. Didn’t sell. Kona sister car to the inero premium spec inside of the undercoat gray. 22 plate 36,000 mi. Really super efficient. These are I just prefer the Nero. Personally, I find the inside a little bit cramped, but very efficient. Um, yeah, nothing wrong with these. 112 great EVs. These are uh 11950 is its guide price. It’s the facelift. 118 119. It’s at cap clean. This will sell £12,000. 22 plate 36,000 mi. It’s It’s not the top spec, but you still get plenty of kit on these. 121. That will sell. Sold. 121. Another Audi. This is a Q8 300 kW. 114 kWh battery. Massive battery in these. The black edition. Sounds sinister, doesn’t it? 23 plate. On a 73 plate, registered 2023, £4,800. should be £43,400. This has got a monster battery in it, and it needs to be to shift it through the air because it’s shaped like a house brick. Um, let’s just have a look at the old. So, it’s about 3/4 full. Um, can’t see how many miles it’s indicating that’s left. Um, yeah, make your own own mind up about the efficiency, but if it does 2 and a half miles per kilowatt hour, that size battery, you know, you’re looking at 250 mi range. 418 it’s at. And that is provisional. Is it? No. Sold. 418. Right. It’s Kia time. EV6 77 kW.4 kWh. It’s the air trim. Uh 7-year warranty with these folks. 22 plate done. 28 should be 193. That’s a lot of car for £19,300, isn’t it? Quite like these. Uh 3.5 miles per kilowatt hour. See, 50% uh 115 miles. So that’s 230 mile range. Still not as efficient as uh as the Enero, but it is a bigger, heavier car. 188 189 grade one. They look nice. I know I keep going on about bottoms, but this has got a nice bottom, hasn’t it? 1941 100 pound over cap clean 196 grade one. You’ll sell this. This will go 197 plus the indemnity fees and the auction fee are £270. just like a one-off special today with Zenith and Shorum plus 270 on top of the hammer price and that is sold for £20,000 to your iPace again the EV 400 SE 90 kWh 70 plate got a 11 kW AC onboard charger 77,000 miles one service bill uh two stamps you’ve just got to be very brave to get into an iPace. It look amazing isn’t the most efficient and I have to say the most reliable. It’s uh massive question marks. There’s a whole list of things that can go wrong with these and I’m afraid the price is reflecting that. 111 and I can imagine Mr. Zenith saying just get this off our books. 70 plate registered uh February 2021 113 gap clean 11450 sold so I’m not surprised Audi Q4 82 kWh 10,000 mi in the black 72 plates should be 23450 depends on the spec but you knew I was going to say that anyway didn’t you? Uh so a quick look at the decimator. See if we can see any picss. Uh oh, there we go. Um 30% 101 mile range. Is that 30%. It’s either 30 or 20. Yeah, 30%. Oh, that’s not too shabby then, is it? 82 kWh 101. So yeah, about 300 mile range driven carefully. It’s probably been driven around town, not sat on the motorway because sat on the motorway. It’s not very aerodynamic. 237 is over cap clean. This will sell sold to the proxy bidder. So will someone put a bid in over and above before the auction and they bought it at 237. Kero time 4 plus same color as mine. 38,000 miles. Uh great cars, great efficiency. You know, if you watch my channel, you know that I bang on about these all the time. They are absolutely brilliant EVs to live with. And even though I bought myself a Tesla, I’m still going to keep my Eero 4 Plus. It’s got the VEZ button, which is limited time. Not long after this, they remove the vez button because of Yeah. UK European standards that we’ve got to have the beep beep all the time. 128 cap clean is 12950. 7-year warranty on this, folks. This is under warranty until June 2028. 131. Great EVs, really economical, really efficient in the best color in my view because this is the one I’ve got. 133. Look at this. 12950 is the guy price and it’s sold for 133. Nice. Q4 55 kWh. It’s the smallest battery. Q4. Can’t see that many people wanting to buy this cuz it’s shaped like a brick and it hasn’t particularly got a big battery. So, it’s not going to go particularly that far ticking on the motorway. Uh 44% 87 miles. That’s very optimistic, I have to say. I doubt whether you’ll get much more than 2 and a half miles per kilowatt hour out of this. So, with a 55 kWh battery, you’re looking about 120 miles. So, not brilliant. Um, not that everybody needs the range. 229 guy price is 23350. I’m surprised. Look at this. The smallest battery Q4 not known for its efficiency going for over cap clean grade one. See, it could just be dealers just thinking there’s an electric Audi Q4. I’ll have one off for me pitch and not really doing the homework. That might be hanging around the sales pitch for quite a while at 235. Yeah, I’m not surprised he’s let it go. 235 sold. Scola Enyak 82 kWh. The 85 edition. Uh 5,300 miles on a 74 plate registered the 19th of September 2024. It’s not yet a year old. £285,000 grade one. Just the odd stone chip. Um almost ready to go. It’s a Volkswagen underneath basically. Um yeah. Oh, there you go. At 66% 221 miles range. Not bad. 82 kW. A little bit more efficient than the um Audi’s. Again, depends on the spec. options list on all the scoders is as per the Germans cuz it’s a Volkswagen group built vehicle 267 cat clean is 28 and a half it’s grade one it’s not yet a year old and that is not sold Audi Q8 95 kWh vort five door auto 250 kW power the motor on a 23 three plate done 20,000 mi spec spec spec uh caps at £43,900. [Music] So, um I’ve opened the front boot up look to show you all the uh all the cables inside. Uh depends on the spec. Uh can’t see the range on there. It’s about what I don’t know to say that’s half. So perhaps 25 30%. Um let’s get back to the action. Where are we? It should be 439. It’s at 40 95 kWh 23 plate grade two. Depends on the spec. £40,000. Have we got any leather going in on in here? Let’s just have a quick look. Oh yeah, got some leather going on. And that is provisional. Yeah, it was nowhere near, was it? and GZS trophy connect facelift 24 plate done 19,000 mi grape one 157 it’s in the fridge white both the cables are there great value for money are the MGS uh can we see 4% so it’s a bit low on the old charge and it’s averaging 3.5 m per kowatt hour. Can’t see the gas meter, but yeah, decent cars these. And that is sold 159 Ford Mustang Mac E time again. 68 kWh standard range all-wheel drive done 41,000 mi on a 22 plate 184. The bit of value these are now, aren’t they? if you like a Ford blue oval Ford badge on the old drive. Um 71% 145 miles. Not massive but not too shabby. Ford McKe 181, 182, 183, four, five. And like Vauxhall and Ford, they all depreciate after 3 years. That’s partly down to Ford’s pricing structure and bulk discounts for massive buyers and groups. 188 and that is sold 188. Kona time again. Premium 64 kWh in the gray. Uh 22 plate, 14,000 miles should be £14,000. Grade one. Just the odd tiny stone chip. Descriptions are always spot on. And let’s just see if we can see anything on the gometer at um No, got 175 miles range showing, but can’t see the state of charge. But anyway, they’re good for 300 miles. These are 131. Should be £14,000. Grade one. It’s the facelift as well. One stamp. Uh, sold. 131. Nice. Tesla Model Y. Long range in the black. All with a white interior. 9,000 mi. 74 plate. Got a thing about white interiors as you all know. And my latest model Y or my Juniper which is the um facelift Model Y has got the white interior. Pleather or vegan leather um 277 cap clean is 285 grade one. Nice type two cable and three pin plug cable. 27th of the 9th 2024 74 plate 28 and a half. Is it cap clean? You’ll let this go. Long range allwheel drive sold 285. There we go. Tesla Model 3 longwheel drive all-wheel drive. 48,000 miles, 21 plate. Should be 154. Grade one. Nice wheels. Black interior. Yeah. Few scust the wheels. 1534. It’s just around cap clean here. We’ll let this go. 155 Shanghai built. Screwed together a lot better than the Fremont built cars. Type two, grade one. And that is sold 131. The Peugeot E 2008 premium plus 50 kWh Stalantis car in the white 7,000 mi grade one 12950 on a 72 plate few stamps in the book not the most efficient but you know people like them. 125 127 and that is sold 131. Oh no, hang on. 127. There you go. Kia Nero EV. The four 65 kWh. So it’s the upgraded facelift version of the Eero. The Nero EV 23 plate 3,000 mi should be 21750. These are vehicle to load as well which makes it very useful if you’re into camping of which I’m not. But genuinely folks, this will do 300 mi if driven sensibly. Um, not quite as efficient as the old Enero, has to be said, but um, looks okay. Still a key in Nero. 7-year warranty with these. 20,500 it’s up to. That’s a bit of value, isn’t it? It’s the four trim as well. It’s the top of the range and that is sold 20,500. Tesla Model Y longrange all-wheel drive in the black 22 plate. Should be 23850 and it’s grade one. Black black black interior, black paintwork. Uh 4-year warranty on these. It’s under warranty till the 24th of June 2026 with Tesla. 29 £23,000 23 23 online bidder and hall bidder for long range allwheel drive in the black 22 plate 23850 is his guide price is now 236 I think he’s yeah he’s going to let that go 236 sold Nissen area the advance 63 kWh 22 kW on board AC charger. This is on a slightly smaller battery in the gray. 24 plate. 23,200 is its guide price. Nissan finally fit fitted thermal management to the Nissen area, which is what the Leaf sadly lacked, hence the term rapid gate. Uh 3.1 miles per kilowatt hour, 5% showing 11 miles. Uh SH are great. They’ll actually charge it up for you if you buy it as well. that can be charged for when you go and collect. 212 cap clean is 232 lot 290 area 2123 [Music] uh smaller battery one again. You see grade one on a 24 plate. Is he going to let this go? Uh sold 213. Nice. Right, this next one, this is interesting. This is a long range rearwheel drive. These didn’t come out till October last year, and I had me eye on one of these, but I’ve since brought the new the new, uh, Juniper. 6,100 miles, superbly efficient, amazing range, um, with a black interior and in the silver, which was a quite a hefty price cost option. 248 is the guide price for this longrange rearwheel drive. It’s about a second slower over the dual motor. So, you know, it’s neither here nor there. So, if you’re going for a Model Y, go for the longrange rear wheel drive. 2756. Cap clean is 284. It’s grade one and it’s in the beautiful gray. 278. This is a bit of value. 74 plates sold 278. Nice. Right, last one today. Lot 292 Mercedes-Benz EQC 300 AMG line premium plus 80 kWh should be how many miles has this done? 83. Thought it was starting low. Cat clean is 19,000. Depends on the spec. 185. Not very efficient. A lot of bling going on in there. uh less than half 74 miles range. So yeah, 191 192. It’s overcap clean. Last car today. I’m going to turn this into three videos cuz it’s just gone on and on and on. So I’ve hope you’ve enjoyed it. Don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe and all that malarkey. 195. Here’s Mrs. Pete. I’ve been here talking Mrs. Pete since you went. No way. 197. A 600 overcap clean from MercedesBenz 80 kW. That’s it. Sold 197. Oh no, there’s one more. Audi Q4. Let’s do this one then. 82 kWh Sline 20 73 plate registered September 2023 done 27,000 mi. Cap clean is £23,950. [Music] This will be the last one because I’ve made a note of them all. Type two and three pin cables. Grade two. Shaped like a brick. Won’t get me in one of these. Not very economical unless the old gas guesses meter. Uh 53% charged. Can’t see. Let’s see what it goes for. 224 225. Is it a cap average? Grade two8 92 £23,000. This really is the last one to say, folks. Thanks for watching.
