Using Data to Optimise Electric Vehicle Planning – Dynamon (ZERO)
As many will know or if you don’t uh I work for Dynamon they use data to simulate electric vehicles against uh historic uh fleet data. So they take the historic fleet data and they uh simulate electric vehicles on top of that to understand the feasibility create energy models to understand the charging infrastructure and the timings for charging um and TCO and basically it’s an endto-end tool to help understand all of this. So planning and I think there has been a lot of bad planning in the past which I think has really kind of put a lot of negative stories out there which hasn’t helped. Um so so yeah it’ be really interesting to see what happens in the near future and I think it’s a big subject so I’m sure we’ll touch on it again soon.
