i mean I I would I would dream about one but yeah
yeah this is a dream i know how to drive you know all about specs and comfort wait about my driving abilities let’s go Mr dramamine let’s just go ahead and get after it
gory what are we in what are we driving try not to throw up
we are in a 2025 Lamborghini Urus SE that is the plug-in hybrid the whole lineup is
Nobody wants a hybrid Lamborghini

you do you absolutely do because this is hybrid done right this is an excellent 4 L 90° V8 engine made even better with a 192 horsepower electric motor

just from the electric motor and then of course you get all-wheel drive and just
what’s our total power numbers 789 horsepower 700 lb feet of torque 8-speed automatic transmission four-wheel drive four-wheel steering
and just the sound out of those matte black quad exhaust tips when you’re in Corsa mode oh oh gosh so you can absolutely tell that you get that initial electric punch and then that screaming V8 just keeps on pulling like a freight train you drove this back halfway from Lamborghini of Dallas who uh facilitated the exchange
to get this to us
and then uh we switched out and I was expecting less of a complete package for sure cuz when you’re talking $3 $336,000 and some change
I mean you would have to live in a house like that one right there holy cow
336,000 and some change and they started about 250ish good luck finding a true base in a Lambo they’re all kind of custom yeah whenever you push the gas you’re thinking it’s going to downshift and it’s going to go no you push the gas and it’s already gone and then the gas motor continues to pull and pull and pull but there’s not this like noticeable exchange of electric to gas you just get that and then it just keeps on pulling
it’s a hybrid done for performance people it’s a hybrid done the Lamborghini way
yeah you think hybrid oh well it’s going to be getting good gas mileage and I mean what kind of miles did you even get down there
i was getting 30 on my way before you took over you put it in Corsa and in recharge mode because you could actually recharge the nearly 26 kW
you can go hybrid which means just drive it don’t worry about it you can do recharge which means you’re not really getting any
EV assistance which you don’t really need unless you’re ripping it which we are today and you just rely on owning the V8 that V8 basically focuses on using regen braking and the generators to help recharge the battery and then you have performance which means give me max performance at the expense of
everything yeah battery life
yeah i think right now nearly 200 miles on the odometer we’re somewhere around 19 MPG which holy cow over 700 horsepower we’re getting 19 MPG
i’ve been driving this thing like a pecker head
what’s your Tahoe got yeah
it’s about 145 and on the highway it’s about 21 with some pretty aggressive allterrains but
789 horsepower in that top
i have probably about 200 three and a quarterish so I got less power so anyway my point is you would think oh well they made the hybrid for performance only so it’s not going to benefit miles per gallon false well then if the miles per gallon are good that means the performance aspect must not be good no
false yeah
this is the most complete hybrid package I’ve been in keep in mind I’m a redneck so this is like sample number three of $250,000 plus cars for me but when you get over 200,000
I expect it to do one thing really well that it’s designed to do and then still do everything else pretty well
yeah like I’m getting back massage right now and ventilated seats and all the luxuries you would expect from a $300,000 let’s face it this is the most expensive Audi you will ever encounter holy cow
but even compared to the Audi what’s the horsepower difference
over a hundred horsepower more in this than the Audi over 100 grand more on the price tag
the value per horsepower is not really there but that’s You’re not buying these for the value everyone in the comments I know you’re going to hit us up it’s too much money what is too much money this is It’s worth what people will pay people been paying more and so they’re going to charge more it’s like whenever people were buying last edition last call Hellcats for 50 to 100 grand over and I’ll be down here comes the Hemi it’s on its way back
and when you know here we are 2025 model year they’re still making it

yeah this is that made me nauseous as much a German vehicle as it is Italian does that bother you that this is an expensive Audi with a Lamborghini paint
it doesn’t feel like a German car i have been in multiple German cars and you’re like “Oh yeah nothing makes sense in here it’s got to be German.” But no this is I mean they’ve done some extra stuff that they don’t really need to do cuz it’s a Lambo but it’s well laid out we got dual screens so HVAC is always here for us we’ve got an infotainment we’ve got way nice stitching it says Lamborghini right there Cory it’s clearly Italian duh
it’s It’s not a German feeling car it feels like its own thing
and this is not our first experience with the Italian Bull from Lamborghini we’ve reviewed a 1991 Diablo man how far have they come that thing is a death trap love it
best kind of death trap in the world is one that goes really fast before you smack a tree corey

what tire size do you have up front because these are ridiculous
up front we’ve got two 8535 ZR23s i have three 25 width 30 ZR23s
yeah these two 85s up front i’m looking at how wide they are knowing that the back ones are
even big even with that size on the front they still decided let’s go staggered why not the driving experience of this car keep in mind I haven’t driven a ton of these ultra high-end cars this is new school Lambo
over a hundred more horsepower than the Audi looks a lot better
i don’t even think you could get the Audi RSQ8 into the 200s where this starts
starts at 250ish the price is ridiculous but while we’re out here this blurp paint

yeah the style of it though very much clamshell overhung nose

it’s every bit Lambo you got the very angular uh headlights up here one design misstep I feel on this entire vehicle
i immediately hated that fake clearly fake side vents either take that off or redesign it and make it real i don’t like that i don’t like that on a 50,000 car i for damn sure don’t like it on a $330 something,000
if they just gone smooth gloss black Yeah
as a contrast would have been fine but no a fake vent
this is the only design misstep on this sure it could be a little crazier you could put a wing on the back it kind of tapers to nothing back there
and it feels Audiish the further back you I’m sure it truly helps with arrow cuz you’re not going to get this isn’t like a high-speed downforce car but I do agree the core of it is there to go even wilder but this is
Yeah that’s I don’t I’m not a I don’t like that the engine is just like in your ear the whole time and this can be that and then we can flip it to strata
just cruise
and now I’ve got the baffles closed off oh
I’ll just turn the engine off completely
now it’s EV
yeah ev only then we can go to hybrid mode it’s still in EV because I haven’t pressed the gas and it’s telling me how much I’m using and when I’m recharging how much I’m recharging and then if you don’t care you just stick your foot to the ground it kicks everything on and you get the power
you’re buying a Lamborghini here like you’re buying an SUV but you’re buying a Lamborghini go wild
that might be part of the whole reason that there’s like what seven or eight pretty distinct drive modes and I don’t mean like it changes throttle position and throttle mapping and shifting i mean like you have like Jackal Hyde Leroy and then like Curtis there there’s it’s multiple multiple actual personalities from total t power output to the way it delivers power to the ground to the way it charges the hybrid you can go full EV
yeah put it in sleepy Joe mode and

sneak on out of the driveway go see Soncho in hybrid not in performance it did take a while like you didn’t throw my head into the headrest like you were in performance but
no and that’s kind of how you want it isn’t it like if you’re I’m feeling bougie today we’re going pinkies up on the way to work and I just need to make a pass goodbye peasant you pass some up you’ve got almost 200 electric horsepower you don’t need much more help from the V8 to make a highway pass but then you also could go sport [Music] and you get more kick and then you go Corsa performance and the second you touch it
oh gosh like instantaneous

And you get the V8 burbles so it’s instantaneous torque like an EV but instantaneous sound of a V8
and the relentless pull of a gas engine
like what more could you want what more could you want it’s It’s just done way better than I thought which is wild because it’s a 300 something thousand car but I’ve been in other expensive cars i’ve been in other purpose-built cars but this is There’s a lot of doctors that have this and I totally get it it’s comfortable and then I can go to the cars and coffee and rev it and pop and then before I get home put it back in strata mode and just cruise on down

all right starting price okay
starting price 258636 that’s pretty high
final price with destination 33669 that’s a lot of options
we’ve got the 23in uh shiny black diamond wheels we’ve got black brake calipers hands-free tailgate advanced 3D Bang & Olivesson sound system this purple violet galaxy paint viola galaxius paint like what would you say is the most expensive and I listed the most expensive option in there
the crazy audio system because like you turn the car on and the tweeters Batman style pull out of the dash
no they they are half the price of the most expensive option
$7,468 for that Banging Olivesson sound system for a whopping $13,384 and I have no idea how they came up with that weird price you get the purple paint on this one deep metallic purple like it’s beautiful but
in direct sunlight in direct harsh Texas sunlight it looks good
i feel like it lets this car down a little bit in that it doesn’t sell the craziness
yeah cuz you probably can’t even see it on camera but we’ve got you could probably see this crease here this crease here but all we got a crease down the little mustache we’ve got creases that come over here like Hyundai Santa Fe style it actually looks like an an arrow coming down the side of the car more creases but they’re like subtle they’re not in your face while still being impressive to look at until you put a dark color over it and it just doesn’t pop the creases

if you’re buying a loud car get a loud car oh my gosh but it still pulls oh man and this thing absolutely runs all the way up to the safe legal speed limit yes
here’s something I don’t like let’s talk about nitpicks
i’m in strata i want to go to sport cool i want to go to Corsa cool i want to go back up to sports just one notch up

yeah i get the whole kitchen sink approach but I don’t think that’s realistic but why can’t this flip forward and also
when I was driving home of course I drive a manual about half the time and so sometimes I got in the habit of resting my hand here and this is really comfortable it’s it’s soft leather or pleather or something it’s comfortable it’s big it’s broad it’s the right angle so I’m resting my hand here and then you know we get a little F-150 that wants to get too big for his britches so to speak and you punch it and you’re like “Oh,” and then you accidentally yink the reverse it wouldn’t put it in reverse but I wish the reverse was a button or and let this be a hand rest talking about nitpicks that’s a nitpick that’s like almost a full custom car
all right here’s a nitpick so very cool start button under this red metallic
oh real metal not metallic paint metal
metal uh cover but it worked well for me this morning i started it up it was in EV mode i snuck away my wife was still asleep went off to come here and film the problem was I then put it in course mode when I got away from the house we turned it off wanted to rev it up start it up cold start

No screw those neighbors they wish they had this car i drive a couple of old cars and I’m tickled to death with them and then I jump in this and I’m like what else could I possibly want
so I took my brother for a ride in this yesterday and we had fun we made it burble and pop and all the things we drove by people making it pop and do all kinds of loud noises half the people maybe turned their heads and looked at this between the $13,000 purple paint it doesn’t really
metallic purple
yeah and and the somewhat tame looks of a Lamborghini SUV it doesn’t scream “Look at me.” Like if we had gotten a bright orange paint

that was gotten the stra off-road version of their V10 powered sports car it doesn’t quite have the Lamborghini presence because it is also an SUV
and it’s and then you have the semi bland nice looking yeah but it’s not screaming Lambo

that’s the truth that’s how it is i don’t do it i just seen other people do it but then we’re leaving and there’s probably 30 40 people out there and it’s probably a eighth mile little roundabout where you’re right pretty close to the water they can clearly we could almost make eye contact we’re close enough

100 times out of a hundred now that I’ve driven this I think this would be pretty close and the resale if you don’t crank up the mileage you don’t beat the crap out of it almost every year there’s some sort of special oh it’s like one of You’re getting into Corvette territory here you know one of 20 paint the guy that the guy that signed it you know he had a sprained ankle that day so really it’s a one of one cuz he took the ankle brace off the next day but you get into where if you get the right one you could dump it for about what you have in it or maybe more maybe a little bit less but you don’t just drop off a cliff like with an S-Class like with a Maybach like with a Maserati these seem to hold their value a whole lot more so this would be
