the Honda Civic has been a popular site on Irish roads for decades and this is the 11th generation of the iconic Japanese hatchback honda has ironed out all the quirky edges of the previous one for this cleaner and more elegant look i think it looks really good it’s now exclusively a hybrid it’s got a healthy 184 horsepower and it’s good on fuel as well as low as 5 L per 100 km honda pitches this as the driver’s hybrid and they’re not joking because it’s really good fun to drive paddles behind the steering wheel there’s also drive modes the quality in here is excellent there are real dials and buttons for the climate control and lots of standard specification like that opening sunroof leather upholstery and even a Bose stereo there’s a 404 L boot which is actually bigger than what you’ll find in a Toyota Prius plug-in hybrid and there are other clever features like this retractable parcel shelf it’s comfy here in the back on the two outer seats definitely plenty of leg room but just beware of that sloping roof line for headroom for taller passengers
