now Wired says that the average rider height starts at 5’4 and goes to 66 the Freedom also comes in six different colors now the version I have right here is white and I love a white bike but it also comes in blue Hunter black Titan and lime green wired says that the Freedom can go up to 90 miles on a single battery charge the Freedom comes with a 60volt hint 1500 watt brushless geared hub motor it has a peak power of 3200 watts and an impressive 153 new m of torque it has a seven-speed transmission a Shimano turn derailer a 56 to chain ring and the 7-speed standard thumb shifter for stopping power you have the Gemma four piston hydraulic brake system with 203 super thick millimeter rotors your front forks are by RST guide they are hydraulic they have 75 mm of travel you can preload them and you can lock them out your front wheel is going to have a through axle and it’s going to be sitting on 26×4 in Kendo Crusade tires they have this all-terrain pattern and they are puncture resistant when it comes to the rear suspension you have this DNM air shock right here it has 50 millimeters of travel you can air it up according to your weight this is a shock pump you’ll need one of these i weigh 225 lbs so we’re putting 120 lbs of air pressure in there you can soften the ride or you can make it more firm this bike comes with two batteries and the first one is going to be hidden in this down tube it’s a 60volt 20 amp hours with 1,200 and watt hours of power they use the really good 21700 S cells which gives us a higher output now you can charge it while it’s on the bike with this charging port over here or you can take it out of the bike and charge it somewhere else it will also come with two 3 and 1/2 amp hour chargers which means this battery will take about 5 and 1 half to 6 hours to charge to remove the battery it’s going to come with two separate sets of keys you’re going to have a big one for the front a smaller one for the rear i just take one off of each and put it on its own key chain and then we’re going to take it turn this key forward we’re going to push up on this lever and your battery will come out and we’re going to turn the wheel a little bit to make sure we got the room and this guys this thing is heavy right here you will see a battery indicator to show us how much battery power we have and this is where it charges down here at the bottom oh this thing is heavy and putting it back in you just got to hold your mouth right click it in lock it up and you’re good to go your second battery goes inside this rack right here it is a 60 volt 15 amp hours with 900 W hours of power so when you combine both of the batteries it gives you 60 volts 35 amp hours with 2100 W hours of power the charging port is at the end of this battery right here either charger will work and to remove it we’re going to take our smaller key we’re going to put it in here and turn it backwards then we’re going to use this lip right here put our thumbs against the rack and just pull it out it also has a battery indicator right there putting it back in is just as simple just line it up to the guide click it into place and then lock it up the Wired Freedom is in the process of getting its UL certifications but it is certified to UL standards it also has an IPX5 rating which means it can handle low pressure water streams from any angle additional features include metal fenders aluminum pedals a double-sided chain ring guard this neoprene cover to prevent chain slappage on the frame a rear rack that can hold 121 lbs a quick release seat post and this wired branded seat which is a medium size and has these grooves right here and BMX style handlebars so let’s talk size and fit now when you take a look at this bike this bike is huge okay it is 81 in in length i’m 5’9 with a 32-in inseam and you can see how big this bike is on me now if you’re a shorter rider or you have a shorter inseam well they do have a step through version of this same bike it’s called the Cruiser so you might want to check that out now it will come with two different seat post it has the shorter one which is what I’m using on this bike right here and it also has this longer one so you guys can see the difference between the two and this is definitely for your taller riders i’m go ahead and put this down to that’s your lowest height right there and I think that’s pretty low and then for me well right there should be good as a 5’9 rider with a 32-in inseam well this is what I should look like riding this bike today and I think with the suspension all tuned in it’s going to be a pretty nice ride cockpit operations on your lefth hand side you have this double locking grip it has a nice leather cover on it and a palm rest right here is your front brake lever this is your controller and it also comes with a bell to turn your bike on you’re just going to hold down the power button until your display lights up this is your display it is full color you can see your battery indicator right here it also shows you your percentage this right here shows you our motor temperature this will tell you how fast we’re going our pedal assist levels how many wattage we’re putting out whether you’re in cadence or torque and then various information right here we can get various information on the display by hitting the set button real quick when you do that it’s going to show you your average speed your average power that you were putting out you hit it again you get your max speed your maximum wattage that you’re putting out time on the bike and then it goes back to the main display if you want to move up in pedal assist levels you’re just going to hit your plus button right there it’s going to go from 1 through five and then you can use your minus button to take you all the way back to zero need to charge your phone there is a USB port hidden right on the back of the controller to turn your headlight on you’re just going to hit the power button real quick and it turns your headlight and tail light on and then to turn it off you’re just going to hit it once again this is the front headlight on the Freedom it looks like it has about nine LEDs in it and it is very bright this is how bright the tail light is when your headlights are on and this is your brake function and whenever the headlight is off this is what your brake light looks like on your right hand side you have your half twist throttle right here your rear brake lever and then this is your gear shifter push the button here and it takes the bike up in gear use the lever and it puts it down in gear let’s hop into advanced settings now the way you get into there is just by holding down the set button and it’ll take you into the submen here’s where you have your general set your advanced set we can clear our trip which let’s go ahead and do that for today’s review yep let’s clear it and you can also set a password your display brightness and you can get various information about the bike but I want to get into the general set and from here we can change our wheel size if we need to here’s your speed unit which tells you if you want between miles and kilometers that this also does the same thing and then if you want your temperature unit if you want to go between Celsius and Fahrenheit well that’s where you go for that and the same thing with your motor temp if you want to know what your motor temperature is you can turn that on or off we want to leave it on for today’s review so we’ll go ahead and hit that your battery display gives you an option if you just want the Oh let’s do the voltage instead yes we want to track that today that’s a nice feature light mode all right here is an interesting phase right now it’s on normal so whenever you turn it on it’s just going to be solid but you can set it up to where your front headlight flickers your rear tail light flickers or you can make them both flicker i’m going to go with just the front end flickering if you’ve set yours up for flashing to activate it where you’re going to hit the power button once to turn your headlight on then you’re going to hit it again to activate the flashing feature and then the third time you hit it it turns the headlight off from there we have cruise control we will be turning that on great it is already set to be activated how long do we want before the display falls to sleep well we want 10 minutes and then we hit return from here we pop into our advanced settings this is where things get interesting let’s take a look at our max speed 99 km that’s as fast as it can go so that’s what we have it set for class settings well you can set it up for class one class 2 class 3 but you know what kind of review this is so we’re doing unlimited which is going to give us all the power all the time drive mode this is where we can bounce between cadence and torque now I’m a torque guy but for this review I’m going to leave it in cadence pedal assist levels you have a lot of different options you can put it at only three pedal assist levels which means it’s going to be more aggressive and then if you go all the way to nine that’s going to be your less aggressive version let’s go ahead and set up for that you can also control how much pedal assist level is in each one of your pedal assist levels which is pretty amazing from here we go into our throttle enable which gives us the ability to just make your throttle work you can turn it on or you can turn it off we want ours enabled throttle follow now this is do you want it set up so that your throttle only goes a certain speed depending on which pedal assist level you are in i’m going to say no we want full throttle all the time throttle percentage how much do I want this throttle to work right now it is set for 50% we’re going to leave it that way but we’re going to bump it up during the review start strength all right this is where it becomes important guys you have four different levels of start strength zero is the most powerful and three is your softest we’re going to set it there for now and I’m going to show you the differences during the review and then we go back to return let’s get ourselves out of here let’s get this bike on the road let’s start off this review by talking about start strength now for me to show you this I went ahead and I put the throttle at 100% and this way you guys can see i have it in the top pedal assist level although it doesn’t matter with throttle and we’re going to show you this is the easiest one and it takes off relatively quick but super controllable now we have it in start strength number two still feels pretty good takes off just a little bit quicker start strength number one and start strength zero oh the front tire felt like it wanted to come up a little bit but all of these are definitely controllable they don’t feel bad at all and for this you know what for the review we’re going to go ahead and leave it into zero and then we’re going to leave the throttle at 100% we are out here on the 606 trail today and it is going to be a super warm day today it’s supposed to be around like 95 degrees right now we’re riding in pedal assist zero which is pretty easy let me go ahead and put it into gear number two i mean we’re getting no assist to the bike i don’t have the throttle if I want to use the throttle it’s not going to work we’re cruising about 12 miles an hour they have this super big granny gear here in the back that makes it really easy to ride this bike when it doesn’t have any power and the bike feels so good that I’m not even in that gear right now i went ahead and put it into pedal assist number one just wanted to see what these feel like i do have it set up for five pedal assist levels and in pedal assist level one we’re cruising at 22 mph so here’s the deal if you don’t want to go that fast in pedal assist number one then either kick it into pedalist to the seven different levels of pedal assist or the nine different levels of pedal assist and that way it’ll go a lot slower in those various pedal assist levels in pedal assist number two I’m cruising at 28 mph now you guys know why I’m wearing a fullface helmet in pedal assist level three we are cruising at 30 m an hour and you know what i’m going to hold off um I’m just going to find a different trail to do this on i mean there’s very few people on the 606 right now but I want to make sure that there are barely any on the route that I go ahead and do but we know that this bike is extremely quick and it’ll do 30 m an hour and pedal assist number three i am a guy who loves a good torque sensor and we’re going to be testing out the torque sensor here in a little bit but during this review we’re going to have the bike in cadence and that’s how we’re going to get our distance test from cadence mode and then I’ll end up doing another review where I go ahead and I put it into torque and we’re going to see how far we’re going to get but right now I think most of you guys are going to ride in cadence and to be honest I don’t think I’m going to be pedaling this bike much it’s probably going to be mostly throttle before we get too far into this review I just wanted to go ahead and check the GPS compared to the display and it looks like it’s showing that we’re doing one mile faster than what we’re actually going so we will keep that in mind when we are doing top speed and other things like that i have a feeling that most of this review is is going to be throttle we’re going to be doing some pedaling i mean I do like to pedal but man I like throttle in this bike and I’m sure if you got a wired bike uh you do too the nice thing about this bike is that I can ride it in the street and keep up with traffic even though we haven’t done the top speed yet well we’re cruising at 33 miles an hour well 32 because of the the difference on the speedometer or I can slow it on down and put it in the bike lane and nobody will know the difference you know when I think about my initial thoughts on this bike there is tons of customization you can do you can literally make this bike ride exactly how you want it to and not a lot of bikes are set up to do that i mean yeah it doesn’t have like turn signals or something like that but if this bike’s anything like the Scout that I reviewed this is going to be a good time like right now I have it in pedal assist number one we’re riding in the bike lane we’re doing 22 miles an hour totally doable we are in eBike mode until I hit that throttle something about uh because I can take off quicker and get ahead of traffic oddly enough I feel safer i don’t know if that makes sense but knowing that I can like get ahead of traffic or keep up with it is definitely um something that just makes you feel more secure or at least it does in my world and I’m sure the further along we go into this review when we’re hitting top speeds and stuff like that and I’m just flying you guys are going to be saying “Hey this is more like a moped.” And I agree it is um it’s the power of a moped with the looks of a normal ebike let’s go ahead and do some off-roading and see how the suspension looks i mean I know it feels pretty comfortable i mean it feels real comfortable so I know that the front forks and the rear shock is doing its thing oh my gosh this bike is I haven’t done anything with this bike yet it’s already tons of fun oh and unlike with the Scout I own this one so I can ride it for longer than just the review [Laughter] i’ve only got a pedal assist for one and this thing just flies through let’s go ahead and check out the walk mode on this bike now to activate that we’re just going to hold down the minus button and the bike should start taking off it gave us that little footprint right there and it is moving at a nice a nice controllable speed actually oh we’re starting to pick it up oh we’re starting to pick it up oh and then it kicked back down so I was like okay it knew that I was starting to struggle and have to run to keep up with it so I was like you know what i’ll just go ahead and slow down for you nice little feature it is time for the sand test as you can see I’m starting off in the sand i want to I know this bike is powerful enough to get through so I figured I would just make it a little bit harder start off in the sand we’re gonna use throttle we’re gonna use pedal assist and let’s get it oh you see it just sinking down in oh it is oh this thing is ready to fly oh my gosh there’s some thick sand right there we are making it through no problem that is awesome and we’re doing like 16 miles an hour this thing just wants to go 18 all right that was getting a little bit too squirly for me come on turn around there we go yeah man this thing makes it through no problem i also have it in a high gear for pedaling and we’re just cruising through it like it’s no big deal uhoh uhoh let me see motor temp 290 300 305 it’s climbing it did not like that let’s go ahead and shut it off i mean it went up to 318 on the motor temp it’s hot out here today guys 3:14 let’s see if we can trick it back into giving me some juice and it is not it is uhoh is it done done or is it just done whoa this was not what I was expecting i think it was the turnaround that did it i mean because we were cruising no problem through the sand at 18 miles an hour but now now let’s get it back to concrete here and give it a moment to cool down we’re at 267° oh gosh it liked the sand there for a bit until it didn’t all right now we got some power back oh I think that once it hit 300° it just wasn’t happy oh that was a long sand test as well if you think about it I went pretty hard on this bike number one we started in the sand and then number two we went a long distance at least a good football field uh down there and then only when I turned around and had all my weight on it and stuff like that did it bog down but I mean can it make it to the beach yeah can it make it through the beach yeah but not forever now we have that nice breeze going right there is the Chicago skyline right there is Lake Michigan this is the concrete beach and yeah you can tell summer is here we got a lot of people out there sunbathing and enjoying the lake for the type of riding that I do I’ll be spending most of my time whenever I’m just like normally riding the bike and not doing a review in pedal assist number two in the city unless I’m like shooting out into the street to get something done and I want to pedal and I’m in cadence mode well this seems to be the right uh the right speed for me right there is our flashing headlight so you guys can see how bright that is in the bright sun there is our tail light and the brake light i have a feeling that you can see all of that really well thank you i feel all bikes should come with a bell and at least you know if you’re getting a wired bike well it comes with one and you guys just saw it works pretty well now here’s where this dual suspension comes in oh my gosh guys that is so soft that is so nice this setup is really really comfortable i mean the seat works well the suspension works great something about how they have this triangle system all the bushings are nice and smooth and everything just flows and it’s real cushy and this is a great day to be out riding look look at all the boats that are out another beautiful day in Chicago and then if you’re wondering what it looks like when you’re sitting on the bike as you can see I’m sitting straight up and down totally comfortable and it’s not one of those things that you need to change very often but you can move your handlebars if you wanted it to be like more aggressive or if you wanted to lean back even farther and don’t forget you have that taller seat post as well for you taller riders let’s get a better look at how the suspension works by just going down these stairs oh yeah that still feels great you know what i wonder how it feels by going up them can we make it oh no problem at all for this bike that was awesome can you guys see that down there that’s a pettic cab i guess somebody didn’t want theirs anymore and it they they dropped it down in there did this break i think my kickstand broke oh no well that’s something looks like we’re going to be checking with customer support on this yikes okay no kickstand now of course a bike like this is going to ride well on a gravel road like no issue at all so you can put this bike on all kinds of terrain and not be concerned about it you should have no issues at all so whether it be off-road through the grass concrete or a gravel road like this even a harder gravel road this bike’s going to do just fine uh while uh while riding around in these different types of terrain with some of the other wired bikes they had that issue where it had the front end wobble but look at this steve put these like hell bender uh brackets inside each one of these bikes to solve that problem and they’re totally adjustable too so if you don’t like how stiff your turning is you can loosen it up but they totally solved uh the uh the wobble issue on this bike this thing is just fun to race around now I did fill these tires all the way up full because uh since this bike is full suspension well then I rely on the suspension to do the work instead of having some of the air out of your tires i want to get the longest distance I can get out of this bike and well you know while having the most comfort but that’s where this uh suspension comes in all right guys welcome to the Hill of Doom this hill goes from 0% all the way to a 31% grade we’re going to use throttle only for this first round just to see if this bike can make it it has over 120 nm or over 120 Nm of torque so we shouldn’t have an issue so let’s go in three two one go and yeah I can already tell by the way this thing is just giving it the power that we’re going to make it up no problem all of these wired bikes oh I’ve had to slow down man this thing was ready to launch over the top of the hill these wired bikes all of them do excellent when it comes to the hill climb 60 volt or 72 volt does not matter you know we’re going to try it one more time we’re going to try pedaling up i’m going to put it down into a low gear i do have it in pedal assist number five and it does feel like Yeah we’re not going to have an issue at all especially like right here is where it’s super steep and no problem at all the Wired has once again dominated the Hill of Doom let’s take a quick look at where we are batterywise it says 62.8 volts uh this chart is showing me that 62.8 we still got 75% battery and we have gone 17 miles so far so you can go some serious distance with this bike all right let’s go ahead and find out what our top speed is using throttle only i know it’s not connected to the pedal assist levels but I put it up there anyways and we’re going to give it the go and see what the top speed of this bike is 26 28 30 35 37 Come on we can hit 40 41 43 come on i’m tucking it in let’s go 43 is my top speed which is actually 42 and we’ve got like 75 or just 70% battery power and the And the power was smooth it all felt great i wonder if we can go faster using pedal assist we’re going to go back and try one thing I’ve noticed about this bike is that it it it’s very quiet i like the fact that this motor doesn’t make Well it doesn’t make any noise actually the only thing I’m really hearing is my tires so that is a super good thing unlike the uh the Scout man that thing sounds like a Ferrari but that’s a that’s a different story which means my warrior that’s coming in should sound like that as well all right let’s go ahead we’re going to give it a shot here put it into pedal assist number one gave it that just quarter of a turn and then it started to kick in and provide assist and really with this lower battery level we’re cruising at 18 mph so that’s nice let’s go ahead and put it in at number two oh I feel it wanting to go number two is 26 mph let’s go for three 30 mph and number three let’s go for four woo starting to get some turns four has us at 35 mph let’s go for five oh we’re fighting the wind 38 m an hour and it’s showing we got 60 volts on the battery woo that was a leg smoker i want to take a look at what it shows 60 volts 65% and we still got over 40 miles an hour on throttle yeah this thing and it was so smooth this thing’s just a beast right i mean it’s it’s not a beast as as the uh Scout or the Warrior but if you’re wanting a bike that is above a class three this this is a totally nice one for it plus it’s comfortable and you can move along really well and everything is smooth all right we’re going to go ahead and do a speed test now we do have 60% battery power this bike is still fast either way we’re going to use throttle only because we’re going to get this thing up above 40 miles an hour and let’s go we’re going to see how long it takes i mean we’re already at 20 and that was 5 seconds already hit the standard ebike uh speeds within 10 seconds 41 43 43 within 20 seconds i mean 45 oh my god 47 holy cow 47 is the new top speed wow wow all right guys it is time for the brake test we’re going to do it in three different uh speeds is we’re going to do it at 20 mph just in case you keep it in the class 2 which would be silly but in case you do we’re going to do it that way then we’re going to do it about 28 30 mph and then we’re going to do about somewhere in the high30s i’m not I’m not looking forward to that one all right we were at 22 when we hit the brakes and we went all the way to 25 ft oh this bike’s going to do some sliding for sure round two this is if you keep the bike into class 3 mode we’re gonna get it up to 28 miles an hour and hit the brakes man do we lock this thing up so 25 Ooh 45 ft now we are going to do the unlocked unlimited speeds we’re going to crank this thing up to the fastest we can go and hit the brakes oh wow ho ho ho ho we were fish failing on the way 51 52 53 54 55 56 57 58 59 can you even see me over there 59 ft oh my gosh in unlocked and unlimited speeds that is a long time of stopping but guys let’s face it if you’re doing 37 40 miles an hour and you got to hit the brakes and you have to hit them quick you’re screwed so I mean it stops I think it stops as I expect it for the weight and all of that for the type of bike that it is but it’s just at unlimited speed it’s the tires that uh don’t give you as much traction i mean you still stop and as you can see we were in control oh my gosh we left you can see these black marks that we left all the way down there but I also think there’s not too many bikes that you can go that fast slam on the brakes and like stop in 20 ft we have hit 94° but that breeze feels nice and it looks like we’re at 58 volts which I don’t know what that means so we’re going to have to pull over and find out this is uh I think this is my first 60 volt bike that I have uh reviewed so it’s okay we got that chart and if you want to know where I get this chart I just go to the internet and I type in 60 volt battery chart and then uh one comes up so it shows that we were at like 59 and that puts us at 60% battery holy cow so we’re not even in trouble until we get to like 53 well 53 is like 30% so we’re going to be out here riding for a bit all right let’s get going but I have to tell you I’m using the throttle way more than what I thought I would be this is using the throttle’s fun i have been taking this bike around some curves at a pretty good speed and it is nimble it’s handling it just fine let’s go ahead and test out the torque sensor part on this bike um cuz I have not done that yet drive mode torque there we go all right I’m going to put it down into like pedal assist three and see how that feels now for those of you that don’t know the difference between a torque sensor and a cadence sensor let me explain to you a cadence sensor will only go a certain speed depending on the pedal assist level that you’re in and I showed you that earlier when we were going through it and I said you know pedal assist level goes this fast pedal assist level goes this fast and then with the torque sensor right now we’re cruising at 21 miles an hour but if I put pressure on the cranks we should launch forward yeah we’re already 25 26 27 28 so it it goes by how much pressure you put on the cranks and right now I have it in a pedal assist level three but if I want to make it easier on myself and I put it into pedal assist level five which I just did well now it’s making it easier for me to crank on the pedals and the bike is also going faster so that’s the difference plus it will save you more on battery power because you’re putting more leg effort into riding the bike yeah see this feels nice i like torque sensors but we’re doing this review in cadence so let me uh put this thing back in cadence mode and there we go we are back into cadence we’re in pedal assist number five man this motor handles extremely well i am very happy on how this bike performs and it’s really not that much more than like some of my other class 3 bikes i mean I believe the price was $21.99 and I have some bikes that cost like two grand and this outperforms all of those bikes that are in that price range now normally I’d be heading home right now but we still got a lot of battery to go through and it looks like we’ve done about 33 miles and we’re still going we’re still going strong we are still flying i mean right now feels like we’re heading into the wind we’re doing 41 miles an hour 43 this bike is dangerous all right we’re kicking this bike down into pedal assist i put it down into pedal assist number two we’re going to slow it down and we’re going to test out the cruise control and the way you activate the cruise control is you just hold down your minus button until the cruise button indicator comes on and now we’re using cruise control now me I am more of a thumb throttle type person so I might end up trading mine out and putting a thumb throttle there uh electric allhe has a thumb throttle kit for this bike so I’ll be able to use it and put that on there if I like i don’t know i’ve been having fun throttling around so at least it’s nice to know that you have that option if you want a thumb throttle on a bike like this i think I’m going to switch out the tires on this bike to the kind that come on the Scout and the uh Warrior i just like them they’re thicker tread pattern uh there’s more to it they’re just a heavier tire bike or a heavier bike tire and it has a better tread pattern woo that wind’s kicking but it does not affect this bike at all we’ve been heading into the wind this entire time uh heading back so we’re going to be fighting it on the way back but I got a lot of faith uh in the power of this bike now since we are heading on this side of the trail well I got to hit the hill right we got to hit every hill we can we’re just having a good time doing it not a problem making it up this bike is so much fun often times whenever I’m riding a bike that looks like a moped or those moped style ebikes you will get some people that’ll just like frown upon you for riding it you know they’ll shake their head no like you shouldn’t be out here or something like that i personally don’t care but a bike like this well nobody does that because it looks just like a normal commuter but it does not perform like one but with those twist throttles it is making the inside of my palm sore so I’m definitely putting a thumb throttle on this bike and once again that’s where the cruise control comes in it gives me a chance to give my palm a break we’ve hit 53 volt the battery indicator is flashing red and we are heading into the wind i have a lot of things going against me at the moment and I’m doing throttle only voltage-wise it says we are at 30% but the battery indicator is flashing red okay now it’s uh now it’s there a little bit solid you know it’s once we start drawing that power and it drops that battery down in there then it starts doing the flashing but we still got 30% we should still be able to go for a while and we’ve already gone 43 miles and still going all right now I can feel the bike really starting to slow down but I also have it in pedal assist number three so let me go ahead and put it in pedal assist number five we’re not going any faster yeah it’s holding 21 mph yeah the takeoff’s so much slower actually helping it by pedaling it you know I said this was going to be a cadence review and I’ve been using throttle the entire time you see me pedaling a little bit but it’s been all about the throttle all right we are here on the 606 trail this bike is acting pretty tired it’s shown that we have 51 volts 51 volts shows that we’re at 20% battery power uh we have 3.3 miles to make it to the house so hopefully uh we’re going to make it and almost immediately after we took off it dropped down to 50 volts uh solid our top speed’s 18 miles an hour oh we are creeping 15 miles an hour although that’s not creeping for some people but when you’ve been cruising around at 30 miles an hour and above all day yeah 15 miles an hour feels like you’re creeping for sure it feels better by pedaling it instead of just using throttle when it gets to that low of a level so just keep that in mind as your battery starts to drop you’re going to want to start to pedal so once you hit that 30% it’s going to start dropping pretty quick and at 20% better hope you’re close to home oh did I mention I’m riding into the wind of course I am we are officially in gear one it still says it’s giving us 55 watts oh I do like that bottom gear though that makes it so much easier to pedal now it’s not flashing at all we’ve lost it all although it says I think it’s just stuck at 55 watts we don’t have any battery flashing i don’t feel like it’s working or providing any assist at this point but I’m almost home guys so let me go ahead and finish this thing up get us home give you my final thoughts holy cow what a day this has been i tell you what I’ve enjoyed a lot of stuff about this bike and I believe that you would too now let’s talk about the overall mileage when I take a look at the display the display shows that we went 49.5 miles and when I take a look at our average speed that was 20 miles an hour our max speed was 53.1 and we hit a max of 3,192 watts now if I take a look at Strava Strava shows that we went like 47 and 1/2 miles or 46 and 1/2 46 or 47 and a half miles it’s It’s right there that’ll show you and I mean I have to give it to Strava but I also think that if you didn’t put the bike through everything I put it through you would easily get over 50 mi on it i did 90% of this riding throttle only uh I thought I was going to do it in a cadence mode but man this thing is fun to throttle it really is and this bike just screams will I ever go out and do a a range test with the cadence or throttle man I don’t know because this thing is just too fun to to use throttle with so I don’t know if I’m actually going to go out there and do that or if I’m sure that it needs to also I was wrong about this shock so there’s like three different shocks that could be used uh uh in the manual and this one the F and the the S is that’s for that’s your rebound do you want it fast or slow mine was in the middle and when I was looking at the video of us of me going off-road I noticed that it was bouncing just nice so I got lucky put it in the middle and I seem to like how that shock handles i think the bike rides excellent sand well I started it out in the sand which I don’t do normally and then I went like a football fields length in the super thick sand the motor got hot once it hit 300° Fahrenheit then it shut down and it only shut down for like a minute by the time I walked it back to the the actual concrete well it was ready to take off again so once it dropped under 300° the motor came right back and as you guys saw I mean even after that happened I ended up hitting those high speeds also when it comes to the high speeds well I did that with like 60% battery so this bike is handling very very well or at least that’s what I feel like right a bike that can go that fast can go that long because I know we could have done over 50 miles just riding it normal that’s really hard to beat now we did have that issue where my kickstand snapped in half and that happens sometimes with bikes you know things mess up and break and so I’ll be getting with customer service but these bikes are kind of built to just go it it it’s like it wants me to beat it up that’s what you feel like when you’re riding but everything is super smooth i think it looks great and if you guys are interested in a wired freedom I’m going to leave a link down in the description below that’s going to take you right where you need to be and if you want to support the channel well that’s one of the ways that you do it another way to support the channel is just by liking the video maybe subscribing something like that now if you’re not into a super fast kind of bike well YouTube knows what you like to watch and they’re going to suggest another one of my videos right there and that’s where that’ll be if you want to see me well just go there next and I’ll talk to you there again guys I want to thank you for making it to the end of this video i am super stoked about having this bike and I’m going to have it for quite a while i am going to put a thumb throttle on this bike because I’m more of a thumb throttle guy it actually hurt the inside of my thumb with all the twisting and torquing that I was doing on this entire trip but hey that’s just me so until I see you guys again enjoy the
