Tata Ace Pro Launch LCV Launched With Petrol, CNG, EV Options – Explained All Spec, Features & More
Tata Motors has officially launched the all-new Ace Pro, a budget-friendly four-wheeled mini-truck that starts at INR 3.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Touted as India’s most affordable four-wheeled cargo vehicle, the Ace Pro builds on the legacy of the original Tata Ace, a vehicle that revolutionised the small commercial vehicle segment two decades ago. The Ace Pro arrives in three distinct fuel options: Petrol, Bi-Fuel (CNG + Petrol), and Electric. Tata aims to offer flexibility and convenience to small business owners and transport entrepreneurs, especially in last-mile logistics. The petrol variant gets a 694cc engine producing 30bhp and 55Nm of torque, ideal for short city hauls. The bi-fuel option uses a CNG setup paired with a 5-litre petrol backup tank. In CNG mode, it makes 26bhp and 51Nm, targeting cost-sensitive markets. The electric version is the more future-ready avatar, offering 38bhp, 104Nm of torque, and a certified range of 155km. The battery and motor come with IP67 ratings, making the EV variant a weather-proof urban delivery tool. The Ace Pro can carry up to 750 kg and gets a 6.5-foot-long deck. It comes with factory-fitted half-deck or flatbed options. It can also be customised for containers, reefer boxes, or municipal applications. Tata has clearly prioritised utility and modularity.
