Mustang Through the Years of DTM | Mustang GT3 | Ford Performance
The return of Ford to the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) grid has nearly arrived. Ford Performance Motorsports has teamed with Haupt Racing Team (HRT) to usher in a new era, the Mustang GT3, of its rich DTM racing history at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben, April 25-27.
Gerd Ruch of Ruch Racing helped lead the most recent Mustang charge into DTM. The Mustang Fox Body, which was powered by a 5.0-litre V8. Ruch campaigned the Mustang from 1988 to 1994. Ruch will join HRT as a guest during the season-opening race, connecting the past to present in Mustang sports car racing history.
