The Canadian Government has ended its iZEV program, meaning there will no longer be federal rebates for electric vehicles. This significant policy shift will impact EV affordability and adoption across the country. While analyzing the data on the EV program, we found some suspicious spike in Tesla sales on the last 4 days of the program. The Government of Canada announced 3 days before the end of the program, but for some reason Tesla sales spiked a day before the announcement.
