Maruti Suzuki’s first electric SUV e VITARA unveiled | 500km range | Auto Expo 2025 | @evoIndia
Maruti Suzuki has unveiled the e VITARA in India, its first electric offering to be sold through NEXA dealers. Based on the new Heartect e platform, it has two battery options: 49kWh and 61kWh. The bigger battery claims to deliver 500km+ of driving range. The 49kWh battery is paired to a 142bhp motor, while the 61kWh battery powers a 172bhp motor. Both make 192.5Nm. The e VITARA gets a 10.1-inch digital cluster and a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen. Other highlight features include matrix LED headlamps, ventilated seats, seven airbags, and Level 2 ADAS.
