I’m building a custom “race car/track car” based on a 1971 Mustang Sporstroof. Was a rusted out piece of crap that is getting a whole-over. New floor, trunk, widened body, new side skirts, new front and bumper, rear wing etc etc.
Goal is to not buy any repro metal but make everything myself. What do you think of this beast? 😀

This is cool. I have a question, though. It looks like a lot of steel is being added. I’m assuming it’s to replace rusted out areas on the floor. Is this adding a significant amount of weight to it?
