The cyber truck will struggle with 3 years, much less 36.
Lobster_fest
How many cybertrucks will still be on the road in 36 months? How many recalls are we on now?
Stevenwave
They’re failing before age or wear and tear is even a factor lol
joeyggg
How many 36 year old Toyota trucks are still here?
cdsbigsby
I’ll never not upvote a photo with a first generation 4Runner in it.

It depends on how many raccoons are around.

Given the aluminum frame of the Cybertruck I’d guess they will have similar problems, but the CT is carrying a lot more weight. A few might survive, but it will also be a question of the availability/upgradability of the electronics. You could have a very heavy, mechanically perfect paperweight because an irreplaceable module failed.

Tesla won’t even be here.

Not a chance

There will be just 5 left by gta6 release

I’m pretty sure they won’t last 10

At least the license plate is right

If anybody is dumb enough to think that a Cybertruck is going to be on the road in 36 years, you need adult remedial special ed. ASAP.

Considering I’m actively searching for an 84-88 Toyota pickup (yes I know that’s a 4Runner in the photo) and I have the luxury of being extremely picky in the truck, I’d say not great. Cybertruck is a marketing gimmick. 80s Toyotas rocking 22Rs made toyota legendary

I’m excited to see what will come of them in like 10/15 years hopefully they’ll be so unwanted and cheap that people rebuild them with combustible engines.
TrentThinks
Unfortunately yes, there will still be some weird small cult following keeping them alive just like people now with things like DeLoreans or whatever, history will always repeat itself.
Joblessmouse06
They will be in junk shops
mrzurkonandfriends
Depends on who owns the lot if it’s abandoned for 36 years sure.
derp_sandwich
Absolutely fucking not

The batteries don’t last > 10 years, so no.
strangway
Mechanically, it is simpler. As far as the drivetrain goes, that is. The motors will outlast any Toyota engine.
NitroSRT
Like it or not, it will be. It’s an iconic car of our age and battery packs are replaceable. People who have them cherish them. They are here to stay my friend.
evilBogie666
Nope. Now change years to months and ask again. …at the rate they’re going, that’s still a nope. Lol
VenomizerX
Yes it will still be here. In the form of a bin…

I will cross a desert in one of those. The other I won’t even attempt it in.

Not a single EV that exists today will be around in 36 years.
PurpleSausage77
I accept the Cybertruck and I don’t get all the hate. “The Cybertruck, is it in the room with us right now?” Seems to also live rent free in some people’s minds.
I sure as shit decided against ever owning one. The replacement part/repair costs of EVs, are absolutely on crack. No thanks. Probably couldn’t DIY nearly as much stuff. Replacement part costs. Insurance costs. How easy they total EV’s and deem them non repairable…yeah that’s sure gonna drive up insurance costs for us all.
Wish they had cheaper insurance for people with clean records running $20k or under cheap to repair vehicles who shouldn’t have to deal with increasing insurance rates.

Absolutely not. Can’t work on an electric motor at home if the battery dies and it will always cost substantially more than gutting out an ICE.
Electric vehicles will take over but they won’t last as long as ICEs. The OEMs will make more money that way too
