I’d say you’re pretty wrong about this

  2. lique_madique

On the flip side I think the sedan is ugly as fuck and the wagon is better looking. The RS6 still blows it away.

  3. kendrickdlr

Idk why people think this is ugly. It’s not the most gorgeous design in the world, but the iX, xM, M3, M4 are what constitutes as ugly.

I love performance wagons, and to me this looks much better than my iX m60… but similar acceleration and probably similar cargo space. I prefer the extra interior space and EV powertrain / instant torque of the iX.

I find the new BMW redesign to be pretty ugly but within that family this doesn’t look all that bad.

Back for more downvotes after your “Alfa Hot Take” eh?

  7. roniadotnet

It looks good to me, frankly. Very aggresive looking.

  8. creep_nu

That tushy’s bumper is not good. Otherwise, excellent looking wagon.

  9. typicalgoatfarmer

    It’s no e39 but I ain’t mad at it

I just can’t get the phrase “demon rodent” out of my head when I look at the mug on this framus.

  11. Fettekatze

If the sedan is 5400lbs, this will be 5600lbs.

Pop in new grilles and it looks really good I’m guessing. Same with the M4.

  13. bvbsoccer

wtf? Its looking perfect to be honest. The sedan yes, but the Touring looks really good. I am not sure if you just want to jump on the hate train…

  14. uchigaytana

This is probably the best looking “new” BMW in a while. I like it

  15. violetchroma996

Completely agree with op. All bmws have been dumb af looking for the last 6ish years, save the m6. Proof that money doesn’t buy taste.
**and the previous m5 which was classy.

Stunning car with presence. The front bumper looks menacing and the rear bumper makes it look like an absolute unit. You reminded me of how I first felt about the E60 5 Series design, I hated the sharp styling, but BMW’s design ethos and the car world in general were just way ahead of me. Slowly, but surely I began to fall in love with the E60’s styling queues and it quickly became one of my favourite looking saloons at the time.

Which youtuber told you that you’re supposed to have this opinion?

Better than those Bugs Bunny teeth on the others…

  19. SpeedySpeedBoy36

The back looks kinda weird but the front looks great

  20. insanetheillfigure

This is way better visually than like anything else BMW has produced in the last 5 years lol

  21. IRENE420

Better than the beaver teeth. Those are seriously disgusting

  22. macgirthy

Hell of a lot better looking than new M2.

  23. FlyingBird2345

Honestly, for its size and being a new BMW, it looks pretty good, especially in green. The issue isn’t the way it looks, but the weight.

  24. Mr_Stealthy

Didn’t know bmw launched a trans atlantic cargo vessel now

  25. willard_swag

Not at all, especially considering how badly they fucked up the M2 and M3/4-series, or the X-M, or the 7-series, or the X2…you get the point.

The only standout issue with it is just how literally massive the thing is. I wouldn’t be surprised if a fully spec’d example is nudging on 6000lbs (2.72 metric tonnes).

  26. StatementOk470

Are you kidding? Did you see the last batch of BMWs?

  27. joshistaken

Bonnet, beltline, and arse end are too high, and it probably weighs about two Suns…

  28. finkle_mcgraw

I wouldn’t care if it looked like the Wienermobile. It’s an M5 wagon and it’s coming to the US.
