How much would it cost to repair the front bumper of 2023 VW Jetta?

Car was parked in my driveway. My dad was reversing his car (Audi Q7) and his hitch hit the front of my car as shown in the picture.

He his willing to pay for the damage but I’m not sure if this should go through our insurance or not.
