Best JDM GT car?

I think I’ve grown out of lightweight shitboxes. I want a GT, something heavy, soaks up bumps easy, and that I can actually have a conversation on the freeway in (road noise). Preferably 2 door.

Something like a Mitsubishi GTO comes to mind? Any other suggestions?

    I personally wouldn’t touch a gto, I used to work on them and out of say supra or a gtr of it’s time the gto was the most unreliable.

    I know that 3000GTs are unreliable but damn I want one. It’s also ridiculous how much lamer the Stealth is, despite being the same thing basically.

    I own a gto, they’re not the bump soaking machine you think it is still a hell of car and I’d say go for one, but if you have a decent budget and can get it rebuilt, buy a rx8 I own both and honestly if I had to choose one for the rest of my life the rx8 is far FAR more comfortable especially if you get a grand touring one

    Can’t go wrong with a 2nd or 3rd gen GTO, all the common electronics that failed over time were mostly removed by the final model years. The active aero, ECS, active exhaust… etc
