Im changing the alternator in my N13 Nissan Sunny, and I thought I might as well change the wires going from it as well. The wires are pushing 40 years, and I’m also planning to add a stereo.
This is my first carburetor car, and I’m afraid I’m gonna eff it up. Is it okay to just pull a low gauge wire directly from the alternator to the battery?

I’ll normally find diagrams like that through a google search. Typically I’ll find more than one diagram and will have to compare them to what’s in the vehicle.
Usually through old forum posts, unfortunately idk how much luck you’ll have with that since I don’t think the sunny has as big of a community as other cars
