He looks like an assertive chap, the type to appreciate a well engineered automobile but unconcerned with status symbols. With cars having cramped low roofs, Mr. Bowler Hat undoubtedly is a connoisseur of open top motoring.
After careful consideration, I believe if he were around today he would drive a Mazda MX5 and on more serious occasions, were the frivolousness of a decapotable not acceptable, a high roofed vehicle, perhaps a Renault Modus to suit his conservative yet adventurous aesthetic
