A proprietary concentric motor and swingarm pivot design provide the optimal architecture to ensure constant drive-belt tension and maximum torque delivery to the rear wheel. The SR/F is highly customisable with five preset riding modes, plus Custom modes which vary engine braking, traction control and the adjustable drag torque control with a 30% slipper clutch effect. Riding modes can be selected from the switchgear and viewed on the all-new TFT colour dash, and custom modes can be created on Zero’s mobile app and uploaded over a Bluetooth or mobile data connection.

Bosch Advanced MSC manages the ABS and traction control functions, whilst up front there’s a pair of 320 mm discs that are gripped by meaty, monobloc, 4-piston J-Juan callipers and on the rear there’s a 240 mm disc with a single piston calliper.
