Looking at this one specifically for my first car, wanted to get some second opinions however. Figured if I was gonna go the convertible route that I’d be better off getting one with a hard top. If not this, I’d like to see your ideas for a solid, cost-efficient beginner convertible.

The worst cowl shake of any new car I’ve ever driven, and that’s saying something. It’s kinda fun but it’s not going to be reliable.
Depends on your budget, you can find an early Lexus IS 350C pretty affordably, like with under 100K miles at ~$15K and enjoy years of trouble-free motoring.
It used to be way too expensive when it was new. Don’t know about used prices now.
Its basically a golf, but horrible and ugly.
Id rather get a mini conv, or even a fiat 500
