Heybike E-bike EC 1: Under 20kg affordable lightweight city bike with a great riding experience
Is all about this it’s the ec1 hair bike commuter bike and it might not look like electric bike but it is it’s a very slim battery in here super light I’ll put the weight in the dimensions below but I’d say it’s not just a commuter bike ads it’s like a
Gravel bike you could easily cycle this on some gravel tracks got gravel track tires that’s why I’m saying it’s more of a gravel bike certainly a commuter bike it’s got hydraulic bricks hydraulic disc bricks chimano gears that we see on a lot of these it’s got a hair bike
Branded motor in that which is relatively quiet very stylish I do like the color it’s like a cream color is this the frames made out of an alloy as are the folks and obviously no suspension in this because it is a commuter bike or it’s it’s marketed as a commuter bike nice
Long mood guards obviously if you’re going to use it for commuting you don’t want to get your clothes wet if you’re on your way to work to unlock the battery you turn the key the battery pops out and you can take the battery in to charge it or you can charge it while
It’s in the bike but it’s super light comes with two keys switch it on there’s a button under there and that brings your display on black and white display three power settings and all the functions you’d expect on this distance trip voltage kilometers miles it’s got an app you can
Link it to through Bluetooth and it comes with a built-in light as well that runs off the main battery with a reflector on and that light is bright enough to be seen by but also to ride by we’re reflectors you’d expect from a an EU British Bike 250 wat motor so it’s
A UK legal one lots of seat adjustment reflector on the seat stem you can put a rack on back of this and a big basket on top of the Rack or paniers and it does have fittings on there for a water bottle as well nice frame there’s no it’s a seamless frame
Look so there’s no welding or anything on it and they’ve hidden all the cables inside the frame as well very stylish and these are currently on offer I’ll put the price down below but do check the description because as always they do send me information after I’ve made

You’ll see later on in the video didn’t have a problem at all with these they work straight out the box the display is quite good I found it really comfy to ride I’m on power mode one there’s power mode two I don’t know if you can hear the motor it’s
Reasonably quiet I can just hear it in the background and then number three yes well impressed well impressed indeed lovely there for a ccle ride even though it is absolutely freezing Let me show how this went together and how it was packed well packed all looks put together well I’ll assemble this as normal with just the tools they Supply which I imagine will be in that box and we’ll see how we get on so in the Box there’s an instruction manual set
Tools the pedals P brick and a European plug I haven’t found an adapter unless there’s one forever in the Box I’ll only use these tools to assemble it and the scissors to cutle the tire wraps It is Well wrapped I’m surprising how light this was when I lifted out the box usually
The hardest bit is to lift out the box you can lay the Box on the side and slide it out or cut the sides out and lift it out that way but this one was super Light That was a bit of a f if I was doing it again I’d probably take one of these off to fit the handle bars just a bit awkward with everything being there and make sure you don’t trap the cables the was a screw missing from here for the
Light but I managed to find it in bottom of the box it’s obviously just falling out in Transit with them having hydraulic brakes there’s a little spacer in there you need to take out first and that’s because if you pull the brake caliper without a dis in that can clamp together and difficult to get apart so you just need to remove that and if you’re going
To take the wheel out to transport it somewhere in back of your car or something keep that and put it back in save you a lot of Trouble but it went together quite well I only use the tools that it come with in the PA of scissors to coule the ti wraps the only fing about was here with all the light and the display to to get the Anvil bars in and line the screws up
Without cross threading them but um if I was to do it again I’d take the light off just under those two screws to make it easier but it is doable obviously with the light and the display on it doesn’t seem to be any scratches and marks looking
Good remember the pedals make sure you get the pedals on the right side um there’s a sticker on each pedal to say it’s left or right and on the actual crank cam it says left or right and which way to screw it in as well because
One of them is a left on thread instruction books in good order it’s got good English in it it’s in various different languages but uh it’s easy to understand also has a QR code for assembly instructions for a video wonder if it’s as good as

This one I like it that it looks like a normal bike but it is an ebike and it’s really really well made um stylish comfortable lightweight I like all the cables are hidden in there I like the small battery that fits in there it really is a lovely bike so in

That would fit on the rack so you can have a massive basket on the top or you can just have a normal rack you put on with paniers so they do quite a few accessories for these bikes as well well that’s substantial is it you get a small
Dog in there you certainly be able to pick up your shopping uh as well as a new to bike I do think it’s perfectly adequate to do gravel tracks as you’ve seen in the video they do other products as well the center is this helmet um and this is all branded up
With hair bike on and it has a rear light in the back has a flash in sequence or on and that’s actually the adjuster of the helmet as well J likes this she’s cleared that already so that’s already disappeared but yeah would highly recommend this I think for the price the style the
