It an 84 fiero with the original engine swap after the recall. It’s running on the duke and incase yall got something funny to say, it has had zero fires in its life.

Nothing. One of the worst gear boxes I have ever encountered.

It doesn’t look like it caught fire. Yet.

Bought an 85 2m4 5 speed for $600 after spotting a wedge car under a tarp in some old guy’s yard 7 years back. Was there looking for an engine for a truck originally but couldn’t resist. The thing was possibly the most fun vehicle I have ever driven while also being a colossal piece of shit. Drove it for a month with no brakes or windows before finally blowing it up with a 4th to 1st downshift for the hell of it. 10/10 will buy another one.

Swap a Buick 3800 supercharged and a manual into it, and you’ll have a monster in disguise lol

I saw a movie where they launched one of these into outer space!

Loved mine that I drove a lot in the 90s. Messed up the suspension doing stupid shit and then sashayed/fishtailed down the freeway every freaking day. That daily white knuckle experience had me begging God to let me live until my wife at the time gave birth to my first born. Ended up donating the car. Wish I still had her now that I afford to fix everything.

Get you a babe Jean jacket, short shorts, a curly faux mullet and some Marlboro reds and it it’s my early teen fantasy. think Tawny Kitane or Lita Ford.

Purchased a red V6 GT for my daughter when she was in school. What a pain when she killed the clutch. The 4 Cylinder is slow but easier to work on.

I had and “84 and an “86. If I remember correctly the “84 had a 4 speed and I always thought it needed one more gear. The “86 had a 5 speed and it was much better. There is nothing special about the Fireo unless you have the 6 cylinder turbo but they are all fun to drive. As small as it is it was easier to get in and out of than my “76 Corvette and actually has more leg room.

Depending on the State you are in that might qualify for Collector Plates.

I trashed the clutch in one when I was 15. Mine was gold. Super clean little car. Ugly as sin but it was awesome fun to drive. Not sure if it’s nostalgia or not but I remember that Fiero handling really well.
    Wow. That was 1991 :^)
    Cool car.
