Family friend of mine was contacted by a widow saying she had something he’d be interested in. This vehicle was stored in a garage for years completely dismantled. After a lot of time and effort (metal samples as well), turns out this is actually an all aluminum convertable right hand drive GT40. Love to get more info on this car if anyone here has it. I was fortunate enough to take a spin in it at Daytona.

The general rule for GT40βs and AC Cobras: if you think you saw one, you didnβt.
I do not think this is a real GT40.
They had fiberglass bodies, unless the roadsters were different.
There were 5 roadsters made, which means that they are well-documented and likely too expensive to be tracked.
A VIN would be helpful to learn more.
