21,000 potential failure modes and Counting just got to say there is no engine in any car that I can think of with 7,000 components if just one of those cells or connections malfunctions it is a five figure financial problem potentially for you or your insurer and possibly also a proper Hazmat

A car you can afford the fuel you might not enjoy buying it you might resent the [ __ ] out of it but you can certainly afford it people who are hit hardest by the cost of fuel they can’t afford new cars and this is a serious but separate
Problem if you can’t afford fuel you might not be able to get from your home to your job you might not be able to feed your family or keep a roof over their head that’s pretty freaking serious still it’s almost impossible to break even Financial with an EV given that the equivalent
