I have never seen or heard of a mustang being able to use the ev/alt fuel plate (which then allows them to use the hov lane). Is this bullshit or can someone educate me?
I’ve never heard of it either but natural gas or propane conversions aren’t all that difficult and are pretty common in other countries so I guess it’s not crazy to think they could have done that.

Any car can be modified to use E85.

Probably Propane/CNG conversion. Not too hard.

You can get an alternative fuel plate in AZ for E85, and easily tune a Mustang to run on it.

E85, my Mach 1 is tuned for it

E85 is actually a higher octane level than premium fuel meaning it can be tuned to handle more boost or more compression and timing not to mention it’s cheaper than premium. The trade off is it contains fewer calories than straight gasoline so it needs to burn a lot more to maintain a stoichiometric fuel ratio.

That’s an AZ cloud plate reserved for EVs, hybrids (not anymore), and natural gas or propane vehicles. So it’s likely converted to natural gas as that was more common to see in AZ when I lived there.
