2024 Toyota Sienna Platinum: The Maybach Of Minivans!

Into [Applause] it powering this is a 2.5 l 4cylinder that is paired to an ecvt and a hybrid system total system output is 245 horsepower with fuel economy being 36 around town and then 36 on the [Applause] highway now before we move forward with this review I do want to mention if you

Such a sharp headlight design for a minivan got the blue Hybrid Toyota badge and then notice how the grill is darker in coloration and then you’ve got the fog lights off to the side and putting it all together the Platinum definitely looks more luxury and it still has a
Front splitter that is hilarious now we’re on the side here our Tim wheel setup is 23550 20 in the front and over in the rear and you guys can see here with the wheels really cool design I mean look at that up close I think that
Is fancy and then you guys can see with the fender design here and the got little splash guard and then side skirt there that’s hilarious and then notice this has the cool kick feature here for the side doors to open it up just like you have for Trunks and some cars and
Then here is the full side profile with this Sienna now taking a look at the key fob we have our lock and unlock function we got the opening for the doors and that’s for the hatch and then the hybrid to logo there at the bottom and popping
Into the back you guys can see with the seat folded up you’ve got some pretty big storage down below and then you can see here for a little charging outlet and then with the seat folded down similar to Chrysler’s stow and go which what it kind of kind of NAB that a
Little bit um it gives you this like flat loading floor which is also really cool and a little bit more space obviously in the horizontal Direction um anyways notice we got the kick feature here in the back as well and then you can just press that and that’ll lower
The hatch right back down now taking a look at the tail lights you guys can see how it kind of like crisscrosses and goes down I think that’s a really cool effect got your platinum badge right here and then you guys can see Sienna and the TOA badge as well and then also
The trim at the Bottom’s all blacked out and putting it all together let me you guys think about the contrast between the silver and the black now inside you guys can see we got these really cool Brown seats and with the Platinum you got this like recline
Function here so notice the seats pushed all the way back you’ve got all this space up front um obviously you can bring it forward with the rail system but yeah again this is supposed to be a luxury Minivan and of course with the seat all the way back here we’ve got
Tons of leg room but even if you have the seat in the normal position where you give the third row passengers you know some space uh you still have really good leg room and you guys can see got some USB here in the back we’ve got charging ports down below and then this
One comes with a TV we also have our own climate zone back here heated seats for the second row the one thing I will say is the back seats they didn’t do the nice perforated section in the center which uh a little bit sad but they do
Get a bunch of USBS and they even have for headphones that’s cool now take a look at the front door panel you guys can see soft touch here and down below and I like the two- tongue coloration we’ve got all window controls here mirror adjustments in
Front and then you guys can see the mirrors do power fold in memory seats we also have blind spot monitoring and then take a look at the front seat perforated all down the center portion I like the texturing too power adjustments there on the side and then you can see we’ve got
Our stability control button here for the lights that’s to turn on the outlet heat steering wheel for the camera system turn off the power doors your gas release and then you got more of that like white trim and then the dash up at the top well that’s not soft touch but
That part right there is soft touch Now take a look at the steering wheel you guys can see perforated on either side and then look at the trim there at the bottom we also have stuff like our adaptive cruise control on this we got our volume voice command controls controls for the center stack and you
Guys can see turn signal light stock wi wiper stock on the other side and then here’s a quick look at the gauge cluster itself um you guys can see here with the one gauge it shows everything that’s happening with the hybrid system and then you can scroll through these
Different menu you see different bits of info on the itself and we also have some Drive modes um so we’ve got a sport mode for sporty driving got eco mode and then normal mode and there is an EV mode as well but the battery has to be charged
Up enough uh for that to be available which it just Oh I thought it popped in but it didn’t now this does come with a 360 camera system which is nice because the Sienna although it’s not like super tall or particularly wide it’s pretty long being a minivan so nice to have
That and then as for the resting infotainment system this is not Toy’s newest unit um but it still responds quickly uh still easy to use and it has plenty of physical buttons for those of you that like physical buttons speaking of physical buttons we got that for the climate controls Dual Zone climate
Heated and ventilated seats as well little charging port right there and I like this trim all over Wireless One charging pad as well and then you guys can see the more storage there and then some cup holders shifter here for the ecvt as you can see parking brake and
Then you got your auto hold here with your EV mode and then drive mode select and then it’s a big Center col got some more USBS and then you guys can see the armrests here on either side and then when it comes to storage the glove box
That thing’s big and it looks like this also has the camera rear viw mirror super nice in a minivan because obviously people could and you know stuff you have in the minivan could block so it’s nice to have that and then we do have a sunroof now here’s a quick
Look at the window sticker for the Sienna Platinum you guys can see the standard equipment here and then there’s your base MSRP and then here’s your total MSRP $56,500 and let’s see how it [Applause] drives well let’s talk by visibility before we set off here’s visibility over
The HUD and hope can see the headset display both of the mirrors which do have blind spot monitoring and throughout the rest of the rear and let us set off in the Sienna hybrid Platinum well all Sienna are hybrids but the Sienna Platinum AKA I think I put
The uh Maybach of minivans I’m running out of luxury Brands and such to use for these uh silly titles so uh someone someone invent a new luxury brand that’s super high in so that I can keep going with these ridiculous titles but anyways first off seat cover’s good and this is
Super smooth uh the Sienna going to a hybrid you know some people weren’t too fond of that because you know they’re like I’d rather have the V6 which you know I respect that but you get this smoothness because of the electric power you don’t necessarily get in the V6 now
The 4cylinder little bit less refined than the V6 that’s for sure but if you’re driving this like most people drive minivans well I should say like you know most people outside of the super aggressive dads SL teens that will drive minivans on occasion then you will find that yeah smooth it the powertrain
Smooth and you know the really big the big benefit of this of the V6 is with all-wheel drive this gets so much like the fuel com is so much better than the V6 it’s it’s a big difference in a positive direction so that’s good that’s smooth thing I like about minivans like
You know people people like to hate on minivans because of the looks and everything but when you drive one it’s like oh man it’s so comfortable like the seats and the suspension it’s like oh it’s so smooth it’s quiet it’s just a it’s a very pleasant experience
Expence so yeah it’s a it’s a nice it’s a nice drive and again it it keeps it in the EV mode quite often cuz it’s it just goes uh so you don’t really have to hear the engine all that much so again it kind of you know leads to that luxury experience a
Bit Wooohoo yeah it’s nice handles pretty well for a minivan it’s you know it’s actually like okay we’ll get kind of we’ll slow down here a little bit and then we’ll kind of get into it yeah it’s not quick but it’s got enough power but yeah I wouldn’t I would
Not I would not say it’s quick um it’s good though so some things up here with the Sienna Platinum the Maybach of minivans it’s got recliners in the back it’s got recliners in the back just saying so I think this looks really good on the outside um for you know a minivan
Right for a minivan uh the spoilers and everything they are kind of they are kind of funny though let’s let’s be real here and then the interior of this is nice um I still think that the the interior of probably like the Pacifica might feel a little bit more
Upscaled and the a carnival right but this interior the benefit of this is you can tell with the material use and how they’ve designed this this is going to hold up really well over time so that’s kind of the appeal is yeah it might not feel as
Luxury as those but it’s going to like this is going to it’s going to look like this in 10 years from now so that’s that’s the benefit of the you know just totas in general right they they make sure things can last a long time so yeah
Overall I like how this drives and it’s it’s a nice it’s a nice minivan but man is it crazy we are now in a world where you know we have luxur no we have luxury minivans first off that’s the thing we have luxury minivans and not only do we
Have luxury minivans but we have luxury minivans that are almost $60,000 man times change don’t they let me know your thoughts on this
