The sixth-generation Ford Bronco and its compact/softer sibling, the first-ever Ford Bronco Sport, are now a big family of SUVs, available in a wide range of configurations. The Bronco family is set to further expand in the coming years, as it embraces electrification to become even more attractive with reduced energy consumption and an increased driving range.
The word in the media is that Ford is working on as many as four different electrified Bronco models, ranging from full hybrids to a plug-in hybrid and even a pure-electric. Not all of them would release at the same time, but the good news is that the first of the lot is said to be just about a year away. Watch the video to know more about the electrified Bronco models, which could begin arriving at U.S. dealers much sooner than you expected. Here’s what we know about the Ford Bronco Hybrid, Ford Bronco Plug-in Hybrid, and the Ford Bronco Electric models.
