Citroën C4 & ë-C4 – 100% ëlectric: ACTIVE SAFETY BRAKE*
Activate / deactivate the function from the touchscreen. The system reactivates automatically every time the vehicle is started.
Thanks to the integrated camera that sits behind the windscreen, the system detects any obstacle. The system operates in 3 stages:
Stage 1: Pre-collision Alert: driver warned about a potential collision; 3 distances for triggering an alert are possible: Near, Normal, Far.
● Regulation of the distance at which te system will trigger from the touchscreen,
● System is active between 30 km / H and 80 km / H,
● Orange warning light + an audible warning + “Vehicle close” message.
Stage 2: Pre-collision warning: Increase the assistane during braking if required.
● Red warning light + an audible warning + “Brake” message.
Stage 3: Automatic emergency breaking: If the driver does not take any action after the initial alert, the vehicle automatically applies the brakes. Automatic breaking can bring the vehicle to a complete stop if required.
System active up to 60 Km / H when a pedestrian is detected and up to 80 Km / H when a vehicle is detected.
