I hit a LARGE bump going through a construction zone, when it transitioned from paved road to unpaved road, going about 45km/h, and am concerned my car is messed up as a result. The suspension went down and up again at the front and back of the car, and ever since then, the suspension has felt a little more stiff than usual. I checked the shock absorbers all around and they all looked in tact, but I noticed this on the rear left shock absorber, the one on the other side doesn’t have it. Does anyone know what it is?

What can likely be damaged if I drove fairly fast over paved road that dropped to an unpaved road.

Also, does anyone know if transmission temperature driving is normal at 60*C (158*F)? I am concerned the transmission is going, and it’s only driven 47,000km so far.
