The brand new Lexus compact crossover concept vehicle, the UX Concept, made its world debut at the 2016 Paris Motor Show. The concept unveils Lexus’ vision for a compact SUV of the future.
The concept was designed by ED2, Lexus’ European design centre, as a team of dedicated designers and engineers pushed the boundaries of SUV design to create a host of innovative new features.
The UX Concept is a creative reinterpretation of our signature designs, reflecting our determination to give each Lexus model a unique character. The concept showcases the ‘inside out’ design, with deconstructed interior styling. This design creates a strong synergy between the vehicle’s exterior and interior layout, something never seen before.
A key feature of the UX Concept is its off-road wheel performance, as the concept unites off road capabilities with ultimate luxury.
Combining off-road capabilities and premium luxury is a first for the auto industry. This makes the UX Concept a distinct idea brought to life by the remarkable imagination of Lexus’ designers and engineers.
