Unlock the full functionality and customization of your BMW with the power of your BMW iD By using a BMW iD while using operation system 7 or 8 you unlock full functionality & customization of your vehicle. When you first enter a BMW equipped with iDrive 8, a prompt will be displayed on the center console asking you to create a BMW iD.

When setting up a BMW ID, you can link this ID to your physical or digital vehicle key and benefit from it when entering your BMW. You’ll be personally greeted by your BMW, and all specific seat settings will be enabled. You can set a profile picture from the connected MyBMW app.
Your BMW ID also enables additional comforts including your specific widget setup on the interactive display, recommendations, favorites, and more.
